I don't think the automobile windshield is the best application for gorilla glass. I would rather have a windshield that is strong, but also flexible - for the same reason we have softer bumpers than we used to - safety. I think the future of windshields is with some sort of plastic. (Actually...
Imagine if we only had robotic drivers, and then they started allowing humans to drive.
"Just think how crazy high the insurance is going to be... then all the lawsuits for negligent homicide... Remember all accidents will be the human's fault because a robotic driver would have been able to...
They need to do a War of 1812 video game. That would add 3 countries to that map. Depending on your perspective, The US, Britain, and even Canada were all bad guys.
I don't think the "car" thing is a very good example.
A better example would be photocopying a book. It violates copyright laws even if you own the thing. I hate to say it, but I don't see how digital data is any different.
I had an R3 arrive with bottom part of the plastic front panel shattered, the fan filter broken, and the hard drive cage bent enough so that the trays wouldn't fit in properly without bending it back.
Probably UPS's fault as much as Fractal's, but I doubt that would have happened with a Lian Li.

So close, and yet so far.
Has anyone actually seen the '61810' preview on the valve site? I tried messing with the contrast of that first pic myself, and sure enough what looks like Duke shows up. But is that an actual screenshot?
Until I see that same thing on the valve site myself, I'm not convinced.
The Wii has sold nearly as many consoles as the PS3 and 360 combined (http://www.vgchartz.com/). I agree with some of the others, if the PS3 "wins," it will only be because Microsoft and Nintendo have moved on to their next generation consoles. I hardly call that winning.
Redbeard - working on, or taking ideas for, a mid-tower (400D? 600D?) yet?
Kill a couple 5.25 bays, get rid of EATX support, and get rid of the 8th PCI slot. I'd also like to see two horizontal 120mm intake fans on the bottom and have the dust filter the entire length of the bottom of the case...
I like the 700D, although my opinion of it will still ultimately depend on its price.
One thing I would still like to see is the dust filter removable from the front of the case instead of the rear. I'd prefer not to have to move a big heavy case away from the wall or turn into in order to get...
Got some inside information from a guy who knows a guy who was in the "club."
Apparently it wasn't actually a "fight club" like in the movie. There was no "beating the $hit out of each other." It was just sparring, closer to what you'd do in a BJJ/Muay Thai class.
Well its mostly gym members, so I would imagine these are for the most part some pretty strong guys.
As to the stress relief thing; you don't "release" stress with more aggression and violence. At first glance this appears to work, but in actual fact you are just tiring yourself out through...
I wouldn't want to fight, but I would definitely be curious enough to go and watch.
(Unless of course they have the "if this is your first night at fight club, you fight" rule.)
Mostly University of Manitoba gym members. If this was a few years ago I might have been a part of this; I used to use the gym there. I still go to the U of M - I'll have to check around and see if anyone I know was a part of this and try to find out some more details...
I think drops in HDTV prices will do more to help BluRay than player or disc prices. That is a huge expense to the consumer that those switching from VHS to DVD didn't have to deal with.
I know for me, there is not point in getting BluRay stuff until I get a new TV. From VHS to DVD at least...
