i have never owned a pair of gskills but i know the ram i have is very good for overclocking can run it even with my processor, motherboard . Overclocking is pretty simple (short ) turn on computer go to bios set FSB to 260 Set Ht like X @ 4 set volts to 1.45 bump memory volts up 1 notch...

i have x2 3800 @ 2.6 and some nice Ocz plats.2.2.cas, and a similair motherboard, if you computer if feeling a little slugging overclocking is perfect for you , i notice a big difference when my cpu is @stock VS 2.6 and 2.9 when its super cold here memory does 280

i think the 640g hd is a litte much, also maybe getting faster memory would help sence he will be overclocking, but nothing extreme prolly around 3.2-3.6

x2 3800+ manchester does 2.9 @ 1.6V and gets up to 70C. I run it at 2.6 1.47V only gets 60C ive even pushed my volts to 1.7 and tryied 3.0Ghz wouldent post tho and ive ran 1.7v for about a hour in orthos and chip didnt fry...

Ower of a 1900gt, im pretty happy gta 4 issues have been resolved with patch and 8.12 drivers from ati, i dont feel to left out;)

back in the day when i bought my 1900gt i had a 500W with 19A on a single rail,idk just to be safe i guess is the 4850&then 4870 the same phyisical card just lowerd clocks? is it worth the extra $75 or so how's the overclocks on the 4850 cuz i love overclocking

well thats kind of a thing you have to take in consideration when buying a acrylic case its hard to hide wires , but i think the looks i get from people when they see it makes up for it

whats your amps on ur +12 on the power supply looks like you might be underpowerd i had that problem with my 1900gt and a logisys 500 wat but it only have 1 +12 rail at 17A witch sucks so i got a thermaltake power express 300wat witch is a seperate power supply for my graphics card

id have to say need for speed carbon on pc mixed with acid does the trick :D plus need for speed carbon already looks like a acid trip with all the shinny lights and streams of color
