best part is, I got the 30" dell LCD for $1599 canadian shipped to my door due to the one day deal dell was running in canada, woot. Its simply lovely for working with digital images.. I can pretty much see the 13x19 prints in real life on the screen now, its pretty awesome.

I have two XFX 7800GTX 256mb cards in SLI mode. I got them the day the 7800GTX's were released... so i'd have to say there's no "first generation cards don't support dual link" etc. etc... as far asi know, all gtx's support it.

p.s. for people having their dell's stuck at 1280x800 resolution - try nvidia 81.98. The 82.12's DO NOT support the dell 3007wfp - this is directly from nvidia. It was an error in the release notes. I tried 82.12 and was stuck at 1280x800.. put 81.98's in, no problems. Also, no dead pixels or...

try 7/04. my corsair twinx2048-3200C2 would boot fine but was way unstable.. i installed 7/04 bios and it works GREAT now... it also lowered my voltage by 0.3v too... running 2.5-2-2-6-7 1T command rate (although 2-2-2-6-7 worked fine before). be SURE ot check out the bug on the 7/04 bios...

I've certainly tried driver cleaner pro... but ive even tried a totally fresh format. Perhaps you THINK your sli is working just fine... do the 3dmark test like i talked about. go run 3dmark right now if it's OC'd, then reinstall the driver totally and disable OC'ing. Bet you it runs...

SLI doesn't work with 77.76, even if you disable SLI, OC then re-enable it. Something with the cards gets buggared up and the cards slow down big time, almost as if one card shut off (but it is in fact even slower than 1 card at a time). To see what I mean, install 77.76, don't OC. Go run...

I'd rather Nvidia *fixed* existing bugs than released new features myself... 77.76 still has the broken overclocking where 99% of the time, whether you overclock OR underclock, the test will fail thats required to enable the overclocking setting... and the remote times that it does pass, often...

Terra I never saw that in the readme before (which is odd, i've read it a ton of times), but to say "intermittenly" would be a blatant lie, i've had the test fail every time i've used it. Nvidia definitely needs to clean up the OC'ing tools. and powerstrip/rivatuner don't fix the issue...

overclocking is STILL broken in 77.76... i cant underclock or overclock my 7800GTX's, only drivers that work properly are 77.50. frickin nvidia, fix the drivers before releasing new features dammit
