I have this board up and running. There are no overclocking options in the 1016 bios that mine came with. I have not been able to flash to the 1017 bios to see if options are available. Keep getting error when I try. I would not recommend this board.
Follow the instructions in the manual to create the floppy disc for sata driver. Go to the dir on the cd that it tells you to and copy the files and the folder for your OS (win XP). Connect an IDE cd drv and put the XP disc in it. Boot to the CD and load the sata drivers from the floppy when...
Finally put my system together! Went together great. Overclocked at 2.2G. Not as much as I wanted but the peformance compared to the Intel system is very noticable. Did not get video card yet but the onboard graphics are sufficient for now. I am pretty happy but I sure would like a bios...
No luck with the modded bios. The list is not updated to reflect my findings but I am sure it does not work. I have given up on this board and will be changing it out with the ASUS P4P800-VM. Hopefully this fourth 478 board will be the one!
Ordered 3200+ venice core and X700pro today. Should receive by Friday and be able to test. I read the entire thread that Jen linked and am not sure if it is entirely accurate. Seems to be some confusion. I still have my hopes up!
I can not confirm as I do not have the cpu to set mine up yet. Do you happen to have a link to that forum. I will be very disappointed if it does not work. After answering Vanilla Cokes question I was hoping we would hear more......like 400mhz more.
They dont. I just received the board today and found that in the bios section of the manual. I will be setting mine up after I get the rest of the parts. Hopefully within the next two weeks! Like the look of everything so far. :)
I think this is what you are looking for. In your manual on page 35 under Miscellaneous Control you will see: DRAM Clock at next Boot.........................Auto
The options are 100MHz, 133MHz, 166MHz, or 200MHz
Found a link to the manual in pdf from a sight in the UK. Scroll through the list and it is there along with the bios. Hope it helps.

Great thread! My next project is a 939 board. I really wish there were more options. Leaning towards the ECS but tempted to take a chance on the ASUS. Have not had much luck with the 478s.
Did anyone else try the modded bios with the Abit IS-10? It did not work for me. Any help would...
