I'll try the reinstall without uninstalling. Niceguy, 162.18 is listed as supporting Win XP, 162.22 is the latest release for Vista 32-bit. Edit: Reinstalling over top of the existing install didn't change anything. I guess I'll just live with it for now.

RivaTuner also gives me problems with my 7950gt, so I just use nTune. It allows me to adjust the fan speed, although at times it will revert down to the stock speed without me telling it to. I was surprised to have this sort of problem though, as Riva always worked perfectly with my 6800gt's fan.

Do you guys not read the description at all? It's not intended for you to play games on in your cozy house, it's for people who need to use a computer in cold outdoor conditions.

If your card can consistently pump out frames at a rate faster than your refresh, then go ahead and use vsync. If it can't, then you risk losing big chunks of fps if you use vsync.

I agree with the above post, foobar makes converting anything to anything pretty easy, including FLAC to MP3.
