Why does it have such a large forehead?

The Apple Pro Display XDR type of display with 120Hz+ would be an instant buy for me. $5k is A LOT of coin for a display though.

I need more size too. A 27" primary monitor isn't going to cut it for most that are looking for bleeding edge IMO. Hell, I don't think I could go back to a 34" ultrawide. I need a 32"+ 16:9 or 38"+ 21:10 at this point :D

I want a 38-40" ultrawide HiDPI microLED 1000+ nits HDR 144+Hz display. Not sure we have a display interface to push that many pixels at 144+Hz with HDR today. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. DisplayPort 2.0/2.1 may be able to do it but not sure.

Did you have HDR enabled in Windows? I find the gamma and contrast way off in SDR but pretty good in HDR.

As much as I love OLED, I’m not going to consider it until we see some options with enough vertical pixels. 1440p doesn’t cut it for me anymore.

I have this and a 65" LG OLED in my office. I love both but they have different uses for me. As I work 10+ hours everyday looking at static content/menus/bars all day, I don't think I could replace my 38" with a current LG OLED due to potential burn in. The other thing that would bother me...

I wonder how long we'll have to wait for bigger versions... I'm a big 38"-40"ultrawide fan at this point but I would even take a 4k 32" 16:9 panel as well. I hope we see it soon.

300 nits is pretty good. 250 would be pushing 'acceptable'. That's good news.

Although I won't be picking one of these up, I'm definitely keeping an eye on the tech. This in a 38" or slightly bigger form would definitely have me second guessing my decision to not purchase. The 'sale' price is also super interesting as mini-LED displays are ridiculously priced IMO.

I have and prefer running things at around ~250-300 in my very bright home office during the day. I don’t find it fatiguing at all.

It's right up there with every OLED TV review that has to tell us how special the technology is because 'each pixel is individual lit' as opposed to LCD technology.

Hmmm... I thought that you could only disable ASBL which dims the screen only when the TV shows static content for more than ~90 seconds. I'll have to look into this but I doubt they would let you disable ABL due to heat/electrical concerns. I could be wrong though.

What is the sustained whole-screen brightness on this thing? I HATE the ABL on my LG OLED. It is very distracting to me.

It's a shame there isn't a 38" version. I don't think I can go back to 34" for my daily monitor. For me it's more about the vertical height than total real estate of a 34" ultrawide.

To be honest, I've had multiple offers... just hadn't gotten one that I loved enough to go through the whole ordeal of a trade. This is a beast of a card and won't complain about getting it into my system tomorrow if I must :D
