I have the same processor sitting on my desk about to RMA it because a pin was bent, I've just straightened it. My AMD 'batch code' is... LBBLE 0516 CPCW. Yours is CPBW. No idea what difference this is.

What's safe working temperature of the card? With the ATi tray monitor can you setup an alarm. Reason is I see if I overclock the card, it maybe fine on desktop and surfing the web, but once you hit HL2 on max settings for a couple of hours you can't keep checking the temp unless you alt+tab...

It most certainly is. It's a pretty well known fact that cooling down computer components using air isn't just simply fixing fans here there and everywhere. However, do take it with a pinch of salt. Elements such as room temperature, component exposure etc can make a big difference.
