Dell support said this morning that there is some work being done regarding the Dolby Vision bug. Take it with a grain of salt...
Contrast setting might have something to do with preference of 400 over 1000 in addition to room brightness, with higher contrast, I believe the ABL is more noticeable.
Not sure what happened but the fan breathing / ramp up bug has gone away for the past day. I wasn’t trying to fix the fan, just messing with stuff and noticed it went away.
I cycled the eco mode off then on again. Not sure if that did it or cycling auto brightness off then on again (I’ve done...

I see a 12W drop on my UPS when unplugging the monitor vs. plugged in and off. I believe the review is stating that ECO mode shuts off the fan after ten minutes after auto power off, but I haven't tested that yet.
Some interesting info here on the fan https://www.computerbase.de/2022-03/alienware-aw3423dw-qd-oled-test/#abschnitt_nvidia_gsync_ultimate_mit_luefter
- Fan is always on when eco mode is disabled, 10 watts constant power draw
I'm at 33 brightness, 57 contrast in SDR all day for work. On my PC I run in Auto HDR mode, 57 contrast on monitor, 33 SDR brightness (windows setting) and 70 contrast in Nvidia desktop color). My eyes are more sensitive to brightness, but these settings are ideal for me in a bright room -...
I switched from the AW3821DW. I sit fairly close to my monitor and the 38 was a tad too big for my preference. They will likely release a 38 version at some point though.
I get the same thing, once it is warmed up and running for a bit. Almost seems like the fan curve needs tuning. Similar to https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/tbx7c5/aw3423dw_fan_noise/
I want one of these, but I have a P8Z77-I DELUXE with no PCIe available. I was trying to find out if it was possible to remove the mPCIe WiFi card and use an adapter to connect a PCIe SSD.
I'm playing the trial along with Path of Exile to try and decide whether or not to bite. D3 is much better than when I played the demo on release, PoE is quite different - I find myself running through a lot more, whereas D3 I must kill everything.
Only available on NewEgg Business, you must have an account. Will only work with these cards, as they don't have the free game bundles.

I bit as well. I recently picked up a 3770K and Sabertooth Z77, so my EVGA 470 has been feeling slightly out of place. I also use a 120hz monitor at 1080P currently.
Picked up the Patriot Viper Xtreme Series, Division 2 Edition 8GB. I managed to get these at Microcenter for around $30-35 a month ago, and I have been very pleased.
HAHAHAHA look at this con for a newegg review

I have got this TV looking pretty nicely for my taste after a bit of tweaking. I have not done anything in the hidden menu though. I am using it as a secondary display, wall-mounted above my desk / 22" acer.
This TV is awesome for watching videos - I have watched several videos in 720p, it is...
Small claw-grip mouse is key, yes it must be the best, but i picked up the G500 b/c the G9 isn't too comfortable for me for just browsing and general use.
I'm using them both at the same time to decide which to keep.
The G9 is smoother, but the G500 is more comfortable.
I have yet to...
