CPU I7 980x
Ram G.Skill PI series 12GB kit (1.5v?).
Tried 1, 2, 3, and 6 sticks of ram. Reseated the CPU. Different videocards. Debug LED bounces a few codes at me, then stops at 'b8'. I think it may be an old BIOS causing the no-post but im curious what you fellows think.
I figured because its a storage controller driver problem, I'd toss it in here.
I cant seem to find a driver for this on intel's site and searches are fruitless. Did intel forget about the x64 version of server 2008?
Ninja Edit: The one listed (IATA89ENU.EXE) errors out before install...

I was messing arround in the console and I deleted something and now the system won't save any setting. When I dual telnet into the switch and run monitor in one session while attempting to alter the system location with the other, the monitor session tells me that the command resulted in an...

What makes cisco equipment far superior to any other?
Or is it similar to the whole Asia vs US car makers thing, where it's all just preference and/or meaningless numbers.
Why is newegg forcing UPS shipping on us?
I just dropped a seasonic 600w psu in my basket and went to select fedex shipper saver, its its $5 cheaper than fedex overnight(21.43 vs 27.75). The hell is this about? I have been ordering items from newegg for about 2 years and have never...
Ofcourse it'll have to be rigged to run with no mobo, but is there potential for damage if I feed them juice from a second psu? Specific order? Potential for damage?
If so, will I have to link grounds?
On white it seems to pe purple, on anything else it's black, and its about 5 inches to the right of the center of the screen.
Should I call dell or quit whining?
Otherwise it's a fine display. Doom3 is beautiful.
Edit: After consulting DPB( :) ) it seems to be dead to green.

This is just a headsup for those looking into the game or those who have been experienceing the problem below.
I was having issues with SC4 hardlocking a few seconds to a few mins into a game. It seems it stops when I de-check the dual gpu box in nvidia's diver's sli tab.
Its going to house all the hardware in my sig.
I was thinking a p180 but I need to know how durable they are. Are the hinges metal or plastic? Are the side pannels easily dentable?
Instead of having the usual tCL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS arrangement they have tCL-tRCD-tRAS-tRP. So, I've been running my ram at 2.5-3-6-3 for a week. lol.
I was wondering why I was at 79ns latentcy on everest.
Some kernel file gets over written even though I'm installing on seperate partitions. What gives?
For those not "in the 'know'". STB is a and acronym for "Shit the Bed", a technical term defined as 'failure'.
All the systems i've seen and worked on crash when a disc is inserted into the drive.
None of them had the same hardware or software. Always an A64 on a nforce 4(ultra and sli) chipset.
Looking to make the transition from 2' tall steel case to SFF, I will want to put a 7800GTX in and I would like to transfer my hard disks(2 of them, sata, 1 raptor) and my audigy 2 zs card.
Can I stuff all that in and not have the case melt?
If some computers were on one 100BT switch, and some on another 100BT switch with a 100BT line connecting the switches... could people transfer large files AND game comfortably(low pings, no loss, on local servers)?
Or should it be a 1000BT line between the switches?
I want to host some game servers and I can't find an ISP that wont charge me an arm, leg, and my first born for more than a megabit upload.
Anyone have any suguestions for Lackawanna County, PA?
Eventually i'll be needing something with multiple copper and fiber gigabit ports. But for now what I need is a switch/router with a few 10/100(/1000?)base-t(rj45) lines and an 1000base-sx (sc/sc) port.
I dont have a ton of money to spend and have searched pricewatch, ebay, and newegg...
