It seems (though the sample is small) that the asus boards are doing better with the corsair memory than the g.skill. Which sucks -- the ripjaws are cheap (relatively), fast, and come in wonderful 4x8gb or 8x8gb kits.

I've got 12gb of the g.skill on a giga ud5 at stock voltage w/ an i940. No problems.
