The linked article makes it sound like just a fab deal, not Intel actually designing and making chips for Panasonic, yet Intel just fabbing up Panasonic's designs.
I'm using a DirecTV HR24 HD DVR and when I run it through the Xbox One, I get picture degradation (very noticeable on red colors) and the audio is not synced to the picture.
Not going through the Xbox One, everything is fine.
Research a parallel vs. series hybrid implementation and get back to us.
You also might want to read a bit about the LaFerrari and McLaren P1.
If you can read and/or write to both the DDR3 and ESRAM at the same time, then the bandwidth can be added together to get the total, if you can...
Actually, it can't.
From engadgetHD.
" Sure, the PS3 supports Doby TrueHD decoding internally, but it lacks a big one, DTS HD. For whatever reason, the PS3 does not support bitstream output -- no, not even TrueHD -- only PCM, and since there's no DTS HD decoder built in, that leaves out...
I'm looking to get one of the generic eBay batteries to replace the battery for my Compaq laptop and wondering if any one has experience with them. They are significantly cheaper than genuine HP replacement batteries, so I'm wondering how the performance is. Even if I have to buy one of the...
It's surprising that the PS3 verision of GHIII couldn't get in the top 10, if it could have sold half of what the PS2 with guitar did, it would have been 135,500 and enough to be ahead of Fifa.
I wish I had Wii to play this game!
I've been playing all the older Marios and I'm really excited for Galaxy, but I need a Wii first and don't know if I can justify it for one game.
I wish they would come out with a new side scrolling Mario. New Super Mario Bros. on DS is awesome and...
The D-pad on the 360 controller can be very easily fixed. It's not a problem with the D-pad itself, but the controller shell. I've fixed the D-pad on all my 360 controllers and it works great.
I don't understand why MS hasn't updated the molds to fix it yet.
The 360 GPU is plenty powerful, the problem is that it's crippled with a 128-bit memory bus.
Take an 8800GTX and cut 256 bits off the bus to bring it down to 128 bits and tell me it's going to perform well in higher resolutions.
I find it funny how these people are saying the Xbox has more PC games, yet a lot of people want to play UT3 on the PS3 because they can use a keyboard and mouse. That's kind of ironic.
Also, did you ever think that a lot of the games come to the PC because they sold so well on the Xbox...
They should drop the 20GB HD price to $50 if only the premium is being cut, as any smart consumer would not buy a core if it stays at $299, since it would still cost them $399 if they bought the core and 20GB. Plus, that's Microsoft's justification for the HD prices, 20GB = price difference...
Selling my Platinum edition Gamecube with controller. Also have Fifa 2005 and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland for sale for Gamecube if buyer doesn't want them.
$40+ shipping
Heatware(not much) under Axoman.
I know I'm a little behind the times, but I just bought a Gamecube this past week and wondered what must have games are for the platform. I'm also going to be picking up a DS soon to take with me on travel and would like recommendations for the DS as well.
So far I have Animal Crossing and...
Due to the physical die sizes being the same, I'm going to have to say with near 100% confidence they are not using a smaller process. The whole reason to go to a smaller process in a situation like this is to get more chips/wafer, resulting in lower costs. I see no reason why the die would be...
Are you sure about that? HD DVD and Blu-ray have completely different physical properties between the two disks. HD DVD is built like a standard DVD with the data layer .6mm from the bottom, where as Blu-ray has the data layer .1 mm from the bottom of the disk. Plus, you have different beam...
Are you trying to join your friends, or random people? If random people, it could be that they just don't want to play with anyone.
I haven't had any problems playing co-op, and I've played a lot with multiple friends.
I agree. I think there is something else causing the units to fail for most of the people that have gone through 2 or more units, likely the power supply. I'm sure some have gotten faulty units right off the bat, but if you have gone through multiple consoles, it makes me think something else...
What router do you have? Some will have firmware that will make them Xbox Live compatible.
I'd try updating the firmware and see if it helps. If your router has a game mode, make sure it is enabled.
I agree.
If MS would just allow us to hook up USB hard drives, there would be no need for a larger on board drive for me. If I could store demos and downloaded video to a USB hard drive, I'd be all set.
How many of the people complaining about this actually have 1080p sets that only accept 1080p inputs via HDMI? Other than convenience of losing a few cables for others with HDMI compliant sets, they are the only ones capable of truly taking advantage of an HDMI output at this point in time...
Every time I hear of a laptop stolen with a lot of personal data, I wonder why is that information on the laptop to begin with?
Why do they put sensitive information on a laptop that is so easily portable and stolen? Even if the laptop is closely guarded or "secure", this type of information...
From an economical perspective, HD-DVD makes more sense. As others have said, it's more similar to normal DVD and the manufacturing process is similar as well.
From purely a capacity standpoint, Bluray is the obvious winner, but both formats have plenty of capacity for HD movies.
Yet...
I'm looking for a working Canopus Pure3D II. One of mine apparently died and I'd like to get another one so I can still use SLI in my old gaming rig.
Anybody have one they want to sell? If you have other voodoo 2's, I may be interested in buying 2, but prefer the Canopus to match the one...
