Thanks, that worked. In case anyone else reads this in the future, for the "export from contacts" part, select all of your contacts and import them as one vcard. The .abbu files can't be uploaded to icloud for some reason, and obviously a ton of individual vcards would take all day.

There was a period of about a year when I only had a mac, and continued to come on here to see desk setups and such. I got a PC for linuxing stuff and the occasional bit of gaming (before they went x86) but I would imagine that I am a part of a small minority.
