I think that the fact that he has not appeared on this thread to give his side of the story despite logging on tells us his intention or negative proclivity with this trade. I would recommend a negative heat if he continues to refuse to answer your PMs and/or return the shipping fees.
Hmmm hope this gets resolved. Sounds like the seller was trying to delay hoping that you will eventually forget and/or let it go. Opening a dispute helps.

Ahhh, I wish I had seen this about 5 hours earlier to save myself USD 10. Just bought tickets to SE Asia via AA. For those fearful of AA and its financial woes, you can use this voucher with their partners such as Japan Airlines, one of the better airlines (leg rooms and service) in the world...
SOLD to RUNT
I have this power supply for sale. It has been sitting in the cellar for years. It was used for 3 months before I upgraded my power supply a while back. Now that I am heading out overseas for a while for humanitarian aid work, I am starting to sell things off.
PC Power and...
Lol.. that is a hilarious and mostly true review of AoC...
Yep got to level 18 and quit... couldnt handle AoC anymore...
But he is right, he should have done something with his life while playing WoW... he seems talented.
Lol yeah..didnt they say a few weeks ago that they would release the review?
I guess at this point they figure it would be a moot point to release a review after so many have released theirs. No point to release something that would add nothing new to that is out there.
Actually if you read evga forums and various other forums, there are quite a good number of people having failures with this card due to high temp.
I doubt evga or nvidia will release the official rma numbers but if people's testiments are any indication of performance, the 280 seems to have a...
Very good pricing. I think there are less people out there with water cooling. Those that are into it probably would be ones of the first groups of enthusiasts that jumps on the 280gtx already.
GL though. If i didnt have my 280 on a DD block already, I would have bought this.
Lol.. nice card.. but couldnt they find a more appealing/less obese and less angry looking guy to show that card?
Back to topic.. very nice card indeed.
Actually, with step up, they go by the price you paid not the msrp. You have to send in the invoice.
But as far as 9800gx2 and 280, I step-up from the 9800gx2 (for free) and from personal experience, although the 9800gx2 does show higher fps at 1920x1200 (my native res), the 280gtx just gives...
Have to admit 2 things:
1. I have read multiple posts from R1ckCa1n over the years, and he knows what he is talking about, espcially when it comes to cooling.
2. I love the fuzion v2. For kicks I swapped out the easy -mount installation method for the universal kit and after applying enough...
Yeah it is really hit and miss with the 280. My first one, with watercooling, it idles at 50C (ambient around 29C) and loads at 80-85C at stock speed. This one, idles around 41C and underload is around 60-62C at overclocked speed (740/1480/2680). Both cards on opening them up, I noticed no...
Although this is slightly off-topic but from what I can determine from Nightops replies, he is a great seller. Nice job dude, if all seller could be as pleasant as you, that would rock.
On topic, when I sell stuffs I do assume the responsibilities of insuring stuffs. Based on my 2 horrendous...
I have owned both. and I can say that for pure frame rates, the 9800gx2 in almost all the games i played (age of conan, vanguard, lord of the ring online, crysis) will give a slightly higher number than the 280gtx. However, it has a lot of microstutter so the 280gtx gives a much smoother game...
Yeah in that case, get the MCR220 (MCR220-R QP under frozencpu's page). That is the one I have. By itself it performs slightly less than the pa120.2 but will get the job done. Also you can install in on the back where the 120mm case exhaust fan is. That way, save yourself time and trouble. By...
If you want to cool the quad as well as the gx2, the pa120.2 should be enough. That radiator is a very good one. Sell the other radiator to offset your cost. I went overkill and got a mcr220 (120x2) WITH the PA120.2. When I was cooling my e8400 at 4.15Ghz (1.46V) and the 9800gx2, I noticed that...
I think you can register on evga. At least it was offered to my step up. Also, evga will give you the lifetime warranty on it.
Only thing you can not do is step up that card again.
Danger den should have a guide telling you how to remove the stock.
Also if you need a block, pm me.. i can sell you an EK one for cheap since went with 280gtx.
It is pretty easy to remove the stock cooler. Just 1-2 spots that require a little attention that is wall.
The temps reading you are referring to is the error in temp reporting that the e8400s are known to have (over reporting). Intel has said to watch for the temp delta from Tjunction.
The Tjunc on these are 95C so if coretemp or Realtemp tells that you are at least 30C from Tjunc, you are set.
For paypal, in order to be "verified" and to receive funds, you HAVE to give them your bank account and routing number. I was shocked when i first asked others with bad paypal/ebay experience, but it is true about paypal able to withdraw funds from your checking account via the routing and...
I recently had a bad experience selling on ebay. Sold ram, the buyer never did the research and found out that his motherboard was incompatible with it. He then wanted a full refund with me eating up the ebay and paypal fees as well as shipping fee. I refused so he put a claim through paypal...
This happens to all graphics intensive games.. Whenever the 280gtx gets loaded, even before the card gets hot, it throttles down. So by doing this via riva tuner, you are preventing it from throttling down. As a protective step, you should also set the fan speed at around 60-70% to keep the gpu...
wow... i think i have an old 6800 that after market cooler that has been sitting around. If you want to play crysis at 1920x1200.. let me know, i can send it to you for free (you pay shipping of course).
No seriously I have a junk 6800 sitting around collecting dust.
Yeah I havent owned an AMD since the opteron 148s came out. That was the beginning of this intel onslaught. Just hard to justify owning inferior products for similar prices. Since I am an overclocker, that makes it so much harder.
I really, deeply, and profoundly hate shipping to Canada. With the ways things are, shipping anything to Canada is like shipping to Lebanon. Even our local UPS guy at the store said it is a crap shoot shipping anywhere outside of the country.
GL though.
Lol wondered how long it would take for people to make these true comments. Good deal though if you have money to spend mindlessly.
But then again, if you do spend mindlessly, it wouldnt matter to you if you save or not.
