Finally got around to buying Dolby Atmos for my old Sennheiser HD419 headphones.
I played around in the Warzone training area and moved around a loot crate. The difference between Atmos and regular Windows sound is pretty noticeable. I can also tell the difference as I move the crosshair...
Move fast. If you see something you like in stock then snag it quick.
I just got done building a new rig. Stuff was going out of stock right in front of my eyes. I’d find something nice. After an hour or so of research it would be out of stock or it would be marked up a couple hundred percent...
ARGH new cpu still and it still won’t post.
MSI rep said to pull cmos battery for five minutes. I’ve already pulled the battery before but only for about a minute so now I’m doing that again.
I reseated it a third or fourth time. No good.
All the pins are good and there’s no physical damage. I put in an RMA on Amazon and ordered a 3600x. It was only an extra 30 bucks.
When I first installed the cooler I had a hard time screwing it down. I could tighten two screws on one side but the screws on the other side wouldn’t reach the little posts sticking through.
Is it possible to crush one edge of the cpu?
I pulled out all the ram and powered up. No trouble LEDs light up. I would have thought that the RAM trouble light would come on.
The only time the trouble LEDs come on is when the board is powered down. They all flash briefly.
I can’t tell for certain if the board posts. Nothing is sent to monitor and there is no pc speaker for beeps.
No trouble LED lights are coming on and no lights on my keyboard are turning on.
I looked and did find a small switch next to the pcie power connectors. I moved it away from the connectors. Nothing changed though.
I don’t know if the board is posting. Nothing is sent to the monitor and I don’t have a pc speaker. I’m getting a speaker on Wednesday.

I’m looking at the sound blaster x g6. Would COD Warzone output the simulated surround sound to the g6 or does the g6 create the simulated surround sound from what the game generates?
I tried Atmos on my non gaming laptop just to test it out but it doesn't work. Dolby Access keeps telling me "enable dolby atmos to access audio settings". This is the kind of problem I'm trying to avoid.
My needs are good audio with good headphone surround for games like Battlefield and COD. It just needs to be good or slightly better. It doesn't have to be so high quality that it makes grown men cry. Standing external speakers won't work in my space although a 2.1 desktop setup might be in...
PC audio, and audio in general, has always eluded me.
I’m building a new PC mostly for the new COD Warzone.
I’m using an MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi with Realtek ALC1220 onboard audio.
What exactly do I have to do to get a good headphone surround sound experience? I’ve seen videos mention Dolby...
The Core Edition is newer, slower, and costs $50 more.
