Considering my user name, you can guess just how badly I want this game. And I will definitely be pre-ordering the super-duper ultra-deluxe version, whatever it may be.
The first computer I built myself used a Slot A Athlon on an Asus motherboard. That computer was still working long after it was obsolete. Heck, I probably still had the motherboard manual until my most recent move, October 2010.
In trying to bring my parents' computer up to date, software-wise, I have discovered that it locks up after about a minute of trying to establish a network connection after connecting it to my router. The machine is pretty old (Duron 950, XP Pro with SP3, 384MB RAM) but I never ran into any...
The Mystique was great back in its day, and my current rig is coincidentally also housed in one. Having said that, new cases with their cable management and better cooling options are definitely the way to go when upgrading the whole shebang. I am torn between a Corsair 500R and a Cooler Master...
There's a new graphite (or whatever they're calling it) finish that I think looks really sharp. Granted, I have absolutely nowhere around me where I can go see what a decent case looks like in person.
One lost me when it went to outer space and became a platform-jumping game. I think Half-Life 2 is far better constructed as a story. One of these days Episode Three might come out, but I surely won't hold my breath.
So many memories to pick from, in no particular order ...

I'm pretty late to the thread, so all of these have been mentioned already. A new version of M.U.L.E. for the Wii would be excellent. On the PC side, would love to see more of System Shock, No One Lives Forever, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment, even if it was just current...
It's almost as if you're here asking us for justification for you to like and/or continue playing the game. If you want to play it, do so. If you do not, well, don't.
I didn't have a chance last night, but I think I can safely remove the bottom of the frame and achieve close to the same results. I should clarify that it's the IP35-E, without the heatpipes, so the northbridge heatsink is considerably taller than on the non-E or Pro models.
I've been out of the PC building loop for a long time and just bought new stuff, including the IP35-E mentioned. Dumb question time: would not having the ATX12V1 plug connected cause the CPU fan not to turn? Everything else comes on, but not that. Kinda worrisome, and I'm hoping I just...
I haven't hung around this board in forever, so maybe I've missed some good stuff, but that is one amazing machine. Absolutely beautiful and innovative.
Note the user name -- borrowed it from Fallout 2 and use it nearly everywhere on the Intarweb. I so wish Bethesda would give any and all rights to the Fallout franchise back to Obsidian, where it belongs.

I have no idea why the Shuttle PF12 case covers are so hard to find, but I can only find one place that stocks one and it hasn't let me place an order all damn week. So, if anyone has a PF12 cover, or the stock cover from an XPC, please email or PM me. Thanks.

Oh, if only the original NWN was as cool and polished as Hordes of the Underdark. Sigh. And although I thought both beginning henchmen in Shadows of Undrentide kinda bit, Deekin made up for it. "Um, boss, if you decide to go crazy, you'll tell me first, right?" Good stuff.
For Shadows, I can...
I can add to this list. I've been playing shooters since Doom (like many of us) and I've never experienced a "wow, I'm gonna heave" moment until Half-Life 2. For me, the worst part was crossing under the bridge. I'm bad at heights in real life and the draw depth made that part really difficult...
Excellent work, and I have a Shuttle question, too. What exactly do those four hex bolts on the front screw into? I'd like to put my Shuttle back together one of these days when my own mods are done, but the bolt threads have nothing to grab! Did I lose a piece prior to re-assembly? Everytime I...
