I'd like this case a lot better if the PSU/drive bays were on the bottom. I'm having a tough time seeing this as an enthusiast case with those GPU temps. I can see how a left-handed person would love this case due to it being more friendly.
"and have a DAC, or digital-to-audio converter" Last I looked DAC stood for digital to ANALOG converter. Oh well.
Creating a solution to a problem that doesn't exist is a great way to make money I admit.
It want's to install a toolbar that has safesearch ratings for web pages that they probably make money off.
For non techies it's better than nothing or Windows Defender and tries to babysit you assuming you're an idiot, which some people desperately need.
I'm thinking it's just a fresh impact with ice debris. With all those impact craters a center hit is not unimaginable. Looking forward to the next batch!
Seems like a Ford, GM, MoPar comparison. There's no distinction between models so no real way to evaluate the results. Android may be the "smarter" choice in a more blue collar state just due to the available apps (mining, farming, IDK). Totally flawed study.
I don't think he's trying to be a douche. Games are not art, they contain art, like a museum does. I think he's saying that games are such a more complex form than a simple image that it doesn't do them justice to lump them in with say, sculpture or paintings, etc. He's actually elevating games...
In other news, the other 96% of Facebook shareholders will mostly (I have no idea) actually BE paying taxes on their windfall (when they actually sell). That's a shitload of taxes folks! Yeah USA, USA, USA!
This is just a classic ambulance chasing political ploy. Way to take the bait 6 pages of...
I wonder if the recent launch of Sandybridge and the imminent Bulldozer has slowed sales due to people (like me) wanting to jump on the leading edge and waiting for the new tech to launch (USB 3.0 etc). It's been 3 years since my last full upgrade and some lucky schmuck will get my current rig...
If I get my Bulldozer rig built just before Star Wars The Old Republic comes out, I will be a happy man!
Seriously, if you like Intel, then you want AMD to succeed because it makes the market healthier, just like how Microsoft needs Apple, fanboy or not.
I still dislike SONY. They have been suffering for a few years since the rootkit incident and seem to have moved away from completely proprietary hardware like memory stik, so maybe they don't deserve to be on the list anymore. I did buy a PS3 just to have a Blu Ray player that also did Netflix...
Agreed. You need a case with a top mounted blowhole(s) to take full advantage of this without compromising your other components, most notably your vid card(s). Just to note, an air cooler dumps hot air into the case as well, you just don't have to block off your rear fan to use one, which is...
I'll be attending a Fantasy Football draft/auction on Sunday. It takes like 7 hours because it's an auction with defensive players and you don't necessarily get the player you want when it's your turn. I won last year!
Corsair was not offering a DDR3 2 module matched pair kit for AM3 until now. I know because I checked a month ago and they confirmed. If you wanted to build a DDR3 AM3 system, you had to buy a 3 channel kit for intel and leave the 3rd one out if you wanted Corsair memory. I believe OCZ does...
So let's get this straight.
Intel X58: Crossfire - check, SLI - check
AMD AM3: Crossfire - check, SLI - nope
It seems like Nvidia is just trying to make life hard on AMD/ATI so that they eventually fail. The reality is that if that strategy succeeds, they won't stand a chance against Intel...
Reverse the airflow as everyone wants (out, not in) from the back, but duct ambient air from the room in through the case from either the side or the top blowhole, to the radiator, kind of like a piece of macaroni made from dryer vent ducting. You could then get the nice and tidy look with the...
Thanks for the suggestion. I do have a 2nd PC on my network, so this could be the better way for me. I live in a 1 Bdr Apt, so noise and clutter are a problem. That is why I was leanining towards a more elegant, smaller footprint as I like to keep the 2nd PC off. I like your suggestion of using...
