Just a followup...
Corsair RMA'd me back 2gb of memory for the 1gb I sent them. No flashy LED lights though. Even though it took a little longer, I am satisfied.
I bought a new computer and bought some more Corsair ram. And I also replaced my power supply in the old computer with a...
I RMA'd two modules of PC-3200XLPRO ram to corsair.
It has been sitting there for two weeks and I haven't heard anything back. (almost 2 1/2 now)
It is kind of making me question if I should buy Corsair in the future. I am looking to build a new computer in the next week or so.
I am the one who said Assassin's Creed is playable on a 2.2ghz AMD64 3500+ OC to 2.4ghz.
Let me clarify.
I failed the install test. I installed it anyway.
The cinematics are noticeably slower then what they should be. The dialogue is about a half a second ahead of the motion in the...
It is completely playable on my 2.2ghz 3500+ single core AMD64, 2gb of ram, geforce 6800GT.
1600x1200 2/4 graphic quality detail -- 1/3 shadows
I overclocked a little on air to 2.4ghz.
I upped the vcard core from 350/1000 to 391/1050.
The outside town areas it slows down a bit to...

last night I attempted to overlock my ram in the bios. I read on the corsair website that my ram could clock as high as 500ddr with lax timings. So I changed the timing in the bios and changed it to 500ddr in the bios. It didn't boot correctly and I went back into the bios and changed everything...
Yes. I already saw pictures of someone else who did it. It also fits with two cards in SLI (as long as they aren't ultra's and reference GT design)

So if someone asks me about it, I'm reminded to tell them how much Asus sucks :)
thats odd, I've never downloaded a codec for media player, how come it works for me then? I'm the only one who uses it and I build it from scratch two months ago...
edit. yeah in the help it talks about a codec, sorry I've led you wrong. I'm not sure why it works for me. maybe its indirectly...
A regular DVD? I don't think so. If you want to play DIVX or XVID or something exotic like that you need codecs. But straight DVD's? I don't think so. To be 100 percent sure, lets try a DVD... *grabs the closest movie to him* The Cell. *puts it in* *scrolls to dvd drive in pull down* yep works.
I just installed a Swifteck MCX159-R to my A8N-SLI today. I doubt it will work with your current configuation.
There is a really good thread on anandtech.com forums right now about this problem.
Helped me out a lot on my decision.

Tight fit eh? The heatpipe barely touches the ram.
Normal ram should be no problem though.
Hi,
I recently bought a Zalman 7700-CU heatsink from newegg for a brand new computer I was building. Little did I know that the heatsink is bigger then the propellor on the Titanic. I realized after I ordered it, it would not fit in my new system. (A8N-SLI w/ XMS Pro Ram) I bought the...
