the ASUS PA series 23'' would a nice one in the price range
ASUS PA238QR, with a IPS 8 bit panel
http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/PA238QR/#specifications
or the ASUS PA238Q with a 10 bit IPS Panel
http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/PA238Q/
they're both 16/9
a little...
went from a 37 to a 60'' since I remodelled the basement...
I sit about 9 feet from the TV... and the only thing I regret on that switch... is I should ahve tried the 70'' :D...
it can never be too big ;)
i'm sure that question does'nt go in the vid card forum...
but has a hint, you're goiing to have trouble finding your andswer with that equation
you better try with
Original trip: 4800 / y = x
Return Trip : 4800 / (y+2) = x-200
the spped was decrease on the return trip... so -200...
should'nt interfer, seems like your digital output on the baord is fried, since the VGA and DVI doen'st use the same pins for the signal, so your problems lies in the digital output.
it's either the board that has problem with the DVI
or
it's the on-CPU GPU, that have a problem (but that...
seems like a dead board to me, the gpu is working since you get signal on VGA,
you can try with another DVI cable... if same thing, would claim the baord
I second for 1920x1200...
Still prefer 16:10 over 16:9 for my monitor, they're harder to find but at least some are still making those :)
My PA246Q is just fine :)
Possibly vid card.
Could be having trouble detecting the signal when the monitor is turn on, like if the cable got disconnected..
Had a card that did the exact same trouble in m MCE, always detected monitor on boot, if monitor was turn off or unplugged had to reboot to get the signal back
seems like a good choice also...
Me went for the ASUS when I change, since on review the ASUS had a little better response time, and the panel seemed better also...
And I have'nt use any TN panel in a long time... first I changed for a TN, almost felt sick when I saw the colors :)...
I guess you will have to go with the U2312HM price / feature, it's hard to beat....
I was shooping monitor for work, we have to update our graphic designer (3 screens each), from our old Samsung 214T....
And Dell seems to have the better option price and feature wise, not a lot of option...
I use the ASUS PA246Q, and very sastified with it....
not sure about the scaling...
Edit: seems like he's doiing it with choice :)

Depending on the resolution, the Asus PA246Q automatically limits the selection...

update:
well finally went with CLZ Movie & movie collectorz on pc,
it's a classic, works like a charmed, did'nt had to enter a single manual movie, just a few cover that I had to change, works great, sync is easy with phone, and search fonction is quite powerful also :).
Very sastisfied...
Seems good,
Like my G5 very much... but love the DPI switch moved out of the way, love the big thumbs button, a few nice feature.
will just have to wait and see
I'm doiing it with google docs currently, but I find that more of a patch that a real solution, since about 1 month ago the phone I had was a Lobotomized Blackberry (from work), I could'nt install any apps on it... so it was'nt really a choice...
I used Movie Collectorz a few years back (but...
Just got a new Galaxy Nexus,
I was looking for a cataloging software to keep my DVD collection on the phone, for ease of acces. To see waht movie I already own
Was wondering, if any of you ever tried those software, and wich one does a good job
does'nt need to be free.
Would be nice...
I would have said that, but since it has already be done, i'll credit to Magoo, :p
I have to agree on every point, especially the one where those 4 gets a card :D
Seems like there is a GT300 series
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_310_us.html
