I really don't think it matters what videocard you get today, as long as it is no older than 2000.... I don't know how much cash you want to spend, but you've got a hell uva lot a choices to pick from ATI: Radeon 7200 8000 8500 9000 9200 9550 9500 9600 9700 9800 X300 X400...

might I suggest not trying to fix the monitor yourself? ... That can be bad news. If it is less than 3 years old, like I expect, than do like he suggested. ^^ If not, call up the company the monitor is and ask them what the hell's goin' on. :D

can you further explain your reasonings? Is it because it's flat, crisper, brighter, and larger than your previous crt? Oh, and is widescreen? :p

I really like that compact keyboard.. now only if it were wireless, it would look phenominal. btw, it looks as if our huge 30" monitor is gonna slip off the edge soon... I'd be more careful with a 1500$ piece of hardware if I were you... :) Very nice though.. very very nice. :D

lol, It's funny... If I didn't read your comments, I swear I would have never known that was a 19" and a 22" incher... I thought this was 15" and 17" :o

I don't know about you, buy I would rather buy something new, rather than something old... CRT's are HUGE, HEAVY, GIVE HEADACH'S and are OLD technology... LCD's have four plus's to CRT's. The LCD's angel problem is nothing... I don't recall myself looking at the monitor on an angel anyway...

It's a really nice price and all, but it's crt... pretty much two, three years ago. We are now moving on with LCD/TV's... I guess that's why it's so cheap though. :o

couldn't agree more. If you're struggling.. just cancel the order and use the monitor you're using now. Don't be hard on yourself. Save up. :) I'm definately not telling you what to do, but suggesting. Whatever you do, enjoy the monitor, or save up, I hope the best to you. ;)

going from 17" to 19" is very noticeable.. at least it was for me :)
