Major Nelson tweeted this link earlier today from the Halo 4 forums. It makes it sound like they just cleaned up legal language and they don't want people profiting and, in their words, running "big corporations" and acting like they own microsofts IPs...
Is this just covering Microsoft published games, or all games playable on the 360? Part of what CoD Elite does is allow players to upload videos to YouTube. Seems like developers would be angry at Microsoft for putting this into place when they've been pushing the sharing of content.
The way...
It's older than that. I was playing the betas prior to 1.0 retail back in 99. Half Life 1 mods...ahh memories.
It's a simple game. Easy to jump into because its inexpensive. There are also a ton of mods from gun game to superhero mods, etc. Tons of custom maps too.
And, what is "the...
I'm assuming that all those 250gb hard drives on ebay for the older model 360's are probably unofficial ones made in this manner? They're honestly not that much more expensive that putting together your own at this point.
OMG I remember watching this live, too. When I saw him shaking holding it I told the wife "he's gonna break it." Sure enough. Didn't expect the cussing though LOL.
I knew that CAL and CPL were defunct, but what has risen up to replace them? WCG? ESL? Sorry, 3 years of WoW addiction took me out of the competitive CS scene.
Where was this deal in February when I was actually looking for a 60"+ DLP??? Ended up with a 50" plasma that I've been very happy with. If I didn't need new tires on my truck I'd be all over this.
On PCs its not hardware manipulation, its largely software modification. And you make it sound like cheating on PCs is rampant and unchecked. Yes, you will see it more often on a PC than a console, but I have NEVER heard a PC gamer get fed up with cheaters or script kiddies and say "Screw this...
I really hope this works for so many reasons.
1. Social gaming. My wife used to say when I was a huge PC gamer that even when I was on the laptop in the room with her, it was like I was still not there. Gaming on a console allows for more casual, social gameplay.
2. Game...
I can't find it or remember when it happened but I could've sworn years ago I saw information that was either leaked or stolen posted online about Valve's finances. Seems like they had 4 or 7 million on their books at that time. This was well before Steam became the juggernaut it is now.
Is 1.6 still preferred over source in terms of tournament and league play? I remember when MLG ended that the North American teams went back to 1.6 because the euros never switched to source. The lack of texture and environment that 1.6 provided made for a smoother competitive game, at least in...

You can login to your xbox account from any computer and download games, avatar items, etc. I guess in a way its actually scheduling them to download once your xbox is turned on.
How so? I didn't get the blu-ray player as I had expected so I'm still exploring the option of purchasing a PS3. I do not like the new 360 dashboard at all.
Not to kill your illustration, but If I ever did take my truck to someone else to change the oil, I'd be doing it because it was necessary at the time. I'd never take my truck to a "car place" though. I do my own mechanic work and changing the oil is too simple a task to let someone else do...
Its a new Gamestop in a poor town surrounded by an extremely poor county. It has local competition from a used dvd/game/comic store that has better prices and is well-established.
I doubt it stays open very long anyway.
Check my original post. I never said I was at the point of sale. I only walked into the store to do price research.
The "long story short" part of it was that I just walked in looking for information on what models - new/used - they had in stock. I was also checking to see what they would...
This could be the issue that one of the employees said he had with his PS3. He said that wireless was terrible on his PS3 and that he had difficulty connecting to his router. I mentioned he could have a bad router and he gave me a blank stare. No telling though.
Actually I came back here for a second opinion. They didn't talk me out of anything. Still looking at my options. Guess if I would've bought it when they recommended against it it would've been an informed purchase. Nice try at trolling though.
I don't. Its just as others have already said it was just odd that they stopped me from buying a PS3. I know they don't make commission, but still...
I didn't even ask for their opinion, they just offered it up.
So my wife and I have been talking about selling my 360 because I'm just not playing it like I used to. We were considering purchasing a PS3 for the blu-ray drive and free access to the PSN so I could play DC Universe online and the upcoming Counter-Strike game.
To make a long story short...
