XFX 7900XTX here with a EVGA 850w power supply. Not a hint of whine even without vsync on pushing max frames all the time.

Evga 850 G6 here. Had 6900XT with a older driver (23.5.2) and dropped the 7900XTX in and ZERO issues I was surprised I didn't even have to reinstall the driver... Oh and I'm also on Windows 10.

Had 23.5.2. with the 6900XT and its super stable and works great on the 7900XTX but I feel like the speed improvements they made, etc. didn't come till later. Thanks!

I saw it right in the morning ordered it and I assure you it was real! Pricing mistake or not! :D

Bought from MicroCenter 10/31/2021 for WAYYYY TOO much $$$. Bought the 3 year plan as well which per their website is transferable. ZERO mining never abused always used with a stand to keep it level and safe in the case. Also ran with fans over stock rpms during gaming to keep the card cool...

Being a asus board you can also just set the pbo enhancement to a certain max temp and just be done with it.

Any reason you didn't just set the PBO Enhancement at say 80C??

So it seems I did a FS post almost a year ago to the day of something similar! lol... So anyway bought the 7700X and ran it for a week or two maybe three now. Set PBO enhancement to 90C and not overclocked/abused in any way!! This sat under my Noctua D14 with AS5. Started suddenly encoding, etc...

Yeah Microcenter brought back the $299 5800Xs so I grabbed one seeing the new cache model is expected to sell for $449, run hot as f, etc. I gotta get this 5700G into a X300W ASAP too as I've been using it for a bit now when I sold my new RMAed 5950x a bit ago! ;)
