I fall into the generation that played the original 2600 as a kid. I find it hard to believe there will be significant sales beyond those that backed the project funding.
Same here, love this family package. Periodically I've seen deals for $60/year, you can buy those and add 1 year to your subscription. I'm good for another couple years.
I would like to see the upload increased. I have 20 down / 1.5 up in my area. When CrashPlan discontinued their consumer service and pushed me to switch, it was going to take nearly 2 months to backup my data assuming I didn't use it for anything else. Maybe something more along the lines of...
Seriously! I have a hard time understanding why this hasn't been made available years ago. At most I would allow someone in my contacts to leave a message. If an interactive assistant made them jump through hoops to leave a message even better. The do not disturb on iOS is a joke and doesn't...
Can someone explain why iOS doesn't allow developers to make applications that will allow you to send calls not in your favorites straight to voicemail? I know there is iBlacklist, but I don't want to root my phone. All I want is the ability to not deal with constant spamming of calls. I...
I would suggest sending the drives back regardless. Seagate clearly won't honor the warranty. If Newegg tries to make it right by sending the right drives later so be it. I wouldn't accept a third party warranty either.
When you file a patent it's not granted immediately, it can take years.

Looks like several were just granted recently, but were filed back in 2015 and 2016. Bose may have been hoping the patent filing would fall through. Now that it hasn't...
Windows Media Center has an option to always stay on top. I could watch live TV(tv tuner), Netflix plugin, Emby, etc. and just place the windows wherever I wanted with any size I wanted. Then they killed it with Windows 10 and you're left with trying to hack it back into Windows or going back...
Exactly! HP = Torque(ft-lbs) * RPM / 5252 This doesn't change whether it is electric or internal combustion. Electric motors are capable of full torque at 1 RPM, but the area under the curve of a HP plot tells you the story. You cannot go by peak HP numbers or torque to determine how fast...
I still use them with DD-WRT. After replacing routers every 1-2 years because they would need frequent reboots or flat out die, this router was a relief. It's rock solid and DD-WRT meets my needs.
I have one right now that operates in a detached garage as a bridge for an IP camera. The...
Couldn't you easily bypass the technology by adding a filter for that wavelength to your camera lens? I could even see a smart phone case manufacture building this into the lens cover.
I agree that this product probably wouldn't have got off the ground without Kickstarter and I don't mind them selling the product to a large company. A large company acquiring the product will greatly increase the chances of making it successful(theoretically at least, sometimes they just screw...
Most ISP's already offer different speeds and allowances for usage. What you're asking for is preferential traffic. If your local ISP becomes congested the people not paying the premium would become very slow or possibly unusable.
One of the true dangers of not having Net Neutrality is...
I seriously doubt your major players will offer a la Carte channels at a reasonable price. It's nearly impossible to get a large public company to reduce their revenue in hopes of not losing a lot more long term.
Sounds to me as if Tim's trying to buy a good reputation. They're making money hand over fist and investors continue to invest in Apple without the dividend. Take the money and invest in R&D for new markets or more innovative ideas. Generate jobs and new technology instead of handing it over...
I always thought it was because of agreements with your brick and mortar distribution channels. If you undercut them by offering a cheap download option through e-tailers they would pull your product off the shelf.
Most of the games I buy are digital. I hope more of the money goes to...
You should never pressurize PVC with air or any other gas. Compressed gas will turn the PVC pressure vessel into a plastic grenade if it ruptures. Pressure rated PVC is for water/liquids only. Pretty much everything you buy from Lowes and Home Depot above 2" PVC isn't even pressure rated. It's...
You're basically trying to cross reference your friends personal content from their Google+ account with things you're searching for on the Internet. No thanks! What if you're searching for boobs and your mom's tits show up?
I'm with AT&T and refuse to pay for texting. They wanted to charge $5/phone for basic texting which includes 200 free texts. I declined and had them completely turn off text messaging so I couldn't get charged. I use the Google Voice app to text between friends.
If most consumers really cared how products were made we wouldn't be having this debate. Apple simply sells what the consumer wants. They could attempt to influence other countries by making stipulations to ensure a proper working environment. This would push other countries to develop better...
I never store the actual password anywhere. I store a description of the password in a password list. The password is comprised of a combination of personal information that is easy to remember.
example: ! + name favorite college professor + last 2 digits of DL number
If the password...
I <3 Netflix and I hope to see more television entertainment options in the future that can be subscribed over the Internet. Hopefully ISP's will keep a reasonable monthly bandwidth cap as well. I could see several ISP's capping their service to push customers towards their own TV programming...
I haven't weighed it, but I would estimate around 80 lbs. I have fixed casters in the back. That way I can pickup the front and roll it out of the living room if I need to.
It's really not that bad. I'm just glad I can use the clutch pedal instead of a button on the wheel which really sucks. I think the only possible benefit to the clutch on the Fanatec setup is the ability to slip the clutch for better launches.
I probably would have, but Forza doesn't take advantage of it when using the Microsoft Wheel. It's a shame because they do allow it for the Fanatec setup. I suppose they figured it would be too hard to control the clutch using the "A" button so they made operate as engaged/disengaged only.
