I don't think that the GamingX will fit at all becasue of the width.
That's not something that can be fixed with a tophat.
Edit: Reading your message again I realize you are talking about custom watercooling the GPU, sorry for the misinterpretation.
Since we're on this subject, do you know why he showed a Titan X instead of a 1080ti?
Isn't the 1080ti slightly better?
Also, at about 8:25 he said that a blower style GPU is preffered? Why is it?
Fuccckk I just got it!
I was lucky enough to be in the super early bird deal!
Thanks for shipping to Brazil, can't wait for it :D
My days using MacOS are about to end soon!
Thank you for that input!
I am too concerned about noise...
I hope that with a 90-degree elbow it will fit in the case without any tophats...
Let's hope for it!
Whoa, thank you so much for this detalied reply!
I'm actually planning on using no tophats at all for a more compact system, so I pretty confident I'll have to look for another card.
For now seems like the next best option would be the SC2 iCX, which already has amazing performance and great...
Thank you!
Seems like the FTW3 would barely fit in the height department, I wonder if it's still a good idea buy it for this case...
Thank you again :D
I may missed that, but any words on maximum dimensions for the GPU other than the 305mm length?
Would a EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 iCX fit?
Also, magnificent case and photos, thank you for that :D
+1
I find it hard to believe that someone who is willing to spend a premium price for a case and sfx power supply will be using a GTX 1050ti.
I for one think that most builds we are going to see will be using 1070, 1080 and 1080ti.
I think my personal build is going to be a somewhat Midrange...
I guess the Noctua NH-L9x65 with undervolting will be a good match!
You got a good deal on your ram, if I were you I'd keep it and worst case scenario sell it on reddit or another place.
If you don't need crazy fast NVMe speeds (probably not since you're only gaming and not into 4K video editing/rendering and 3D Modeling) you can snag this amazing M.2 SSD of 1.1TB for only 270USD...
600W for the 1080ti and 500W for the 1080.
I'm a little below that, but the Corsair SF line is a trusted one and I'm using a regular non-overclocked gtx 1080 and won't be overclocking my CPU too, so I think I'm safe for now.
The prices of Z370 mobos are insane right now, I wish those go down a...
Ohhh, nice!
If you even't yet, check this test: http://louqe.com/img/img/ext/ext/GhostS1CPUheatSinkTest.pdf
He uses the exact same CPU as yours!
I'm still using a macbook and planning my pc build, yet I only have a GTX 1080, the noctua NH-L12 and a Corsair SF450.
I'm torn about CPU... So many...
Damn, that newegg sale is just amazing, however unfortunately it won't fit since the L12 ram clearance is only 43mm...
The Ripjaws V and Corsair LPX are the way to go!
Edit: The Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B also has good performance, however the ram clearance is even lower at 39mm.
Another option...
The new one (NH-L12S) has slightly better thermals and ram compatibility, however it's 4mm taller and the L12 was already in the very limit of height clearance, which is 66mm.
Since I'm down for this case already I got a BNIB L12 on https://www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap/ for 45 shipped.
That's actually really good to know!
However I just ended up getting a cable kit for the Corsair SF450 because the seller offered me a really good deal and it looks awesome, haha
I'm really looking forward this case :D
Thank you for the reply! Makes sense :D
OP, do you know what are the lenghts for the PSU cables to fit this case exactly? Since the internal space is very limited, it would be interesting to get custom made cables to avoid a mess.
Thank you so much for the reply!
I actually got luck enough to be able to get a L12, I hope the dust filter won't affect with clearance.
If the aditional for the dust filter isn't expensive, I think I'll probably grab it and test myself if the temperature differences are actually...
The L12! I know you are nice enough to ship worldwide :D
About attention from Brazil, I'm actually surprised, I wouldn't imagine that at all, hahaha. Btw, I contact you through Instagram about 2 weeks ago, so maybe you counted me twice.
For me at least the ghost is impressive because it's...
Thank you!
I actually read this one before, I didn't realise it was with the L12 too. Nice!
Seems like I'm safe to buy the L12 for this case, now I have only to find a way to get it shipped to Brazil.
Thank you again :D
Thank you so much for the reply! It truly means alot :D
Amazing document, thank you!
Seems like besides the L9i, none surpassed the 80˚C limit, which is great! I think I'd opt for the L12 since it's the quiest and still high performance.
May I ask: If I traded the bottom fan for a 2.5"...
May I ask if I'm safe to buy the older L12 for this case and have no problems in regards of turbulence?
Also, thank you so much for the incredible design! I'm really looking forward :D
