Hi guys. sorry for the late. during the last weekend I finally finish my pc...all seems working fine but.. I got problems with cpu temps! inside the case, with the vga placed on the heatsink I have 50° on idle and 74° in full load...and I'm not satisfied about this, cause these days are cold...
First boot out of the case (just to be sure that all works):
xeon 1230l v3
asrock h81m-itx
scythe kodati for the cpu
2x4gb crucial ballistx sport 1600mhz
evga gtx 750 ti
seems working; i install Windows 10 and did some little test; actually I was testing the cpu without a...
yes, that is, the cpu is soldered on the mobo so, to do an upgrade, I need to replace the entire set.
the new cpu should be here today (thanks to fedex)...than I will decide which model of motherboard use (probably a cheaper one....I don't need to overlock or any special features)
sorry kooky; I haven't GTAV, so I can't try....the most intensive cpu games avaible are crysis 3 and far cry 3, and they run quit (not at higher framre rate...for examples far cry 3 it's around 30fps......crysis 3 frame rate is heavely related to the maps)
Thanks man. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the motherboard I can't simply upgrade my CPU replacing with another one, so I'am going to chance the combo mono+CPU+RAM.....I'll keep the case, the VGA, the pico and the hard drive...my goals will ne the same....performances, low noise and...
Cool Man! let me know how you're temperatures will be! I suppose that you'll install the 12mm fan on the top of the case, with the airflow directed on the cooler of the cpu/gpu, right?
still surprised about the performance of this j1900 + gtx 750 ti:

yes, as you can see from this article there is a performance loss using pcie 1X
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Intel/Ivy_Bridge_PCI-Express_Scaling/23.html
despite this I notice that not all the games have the same "bandwidth hungry"; you can see in my screenshots the bus usage %, and...
Ehilà, grazie e ciao! ;)
Me too! here there are others in-game screenshots from Crysis 3 and Grid; I would like to remember that we are not talking about an high/tech game station, but it's just a gaming machine that uses less than 100w in game, and that allows you to play all titles...
Here there are just a couple of benchrmaks (from the nvidia control panel I have set "triple buffer" to On an "Adaptive vsync", so max FPS are capped to 60):
Mafia2
Tomb Raider
Batman Arkham City
the card is supported by the DVI screws, while the same pcie cable placed under support itself in the middle, while at the end of the pcb I put two little plastic shims that rest directly on the heatsink of j1900.
despite being only pcie 1x and the j1900 for cpu, I must say that the card...
Hi guys, this is my new htpc/downloading station/light gaming....the sandwich itx!: based on a celeron j1900, 8gb of ram, one ssd crucial mx100 256gb and (last but not least) one evga gtx 750 ti; all is powered by a pico psu 150w and cooled by a scythe slim 120mm fan, placed on the top of the...
Hi. a quick info from the owners of this case. how long is the red line that you can see in this photo? thanks
una info dai possessori del lian li q11...mi sapreste dire quanto misura la linea rossa che si vede in foto? grazie

Little update on my mini itx, consisting in a radical modification of the internal cooling system.
At first I move the H50 on the top (fan configured extraction);it wasn't easy to install because the tubes of corsair touched SO-DIMM, so I had to place the radiator on the top, with the fan...

hi: just a couple of questions. I would like to do a sli config with your same mobo (M4A98TD), an amd X6 1055t and 2 gtx 580. how perform the X6 on this mobo? can you overclock well (cause I've read about a huge vdrop on this asus)? how perform chipset 980a with sli? any issues about driver or...
ok, here a couple of result.
first at all this is the stability test with prime 95 blend with the cpu unbdervolted to 1.1v (but not downclocked, so 2800-3300 turbocore):

I use a scythe 140mm fan, that has 120mm mounting holes, as you can see here in the specs:
http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/111/sm1425sl12_detail.html
and here a couple of pictures of my rad before mounting inside the case: you can see the fan mount directly with screws on the h50...
yes, it could be possibile to mount the 140 fan directly to the front fan holes of the Q08, and should be possibile to use the HDD cage.
actually I have almost 27cm for a vga card (I tryed with my gtx285 and it fit): now I'm waitin for cayman to see if will fit.....if not I could do any...
