I really like this. 1b layout is very much my preferred layout. The front of this looks very nice. I like the air intake and the IO is much nicer that the M1 style.
Yeah I was thinking it would look pretty good like that. Though as you say limits it to desk only and is more like to be obstructed even so.
Perhaps flip it so the "V" cut out is pointing up and move it to the very top of the case. Though that would mess with ODD.
I guess it comes down to who...
How is the space for cables like usb3 on the bottom of an atx board, would the PSU interfere?
The front IO seems kinda out of place, the chamfer is nice.
I like 1b the most. I don't mind top mounted power supplies. They get less dusty and help cool the system.
The extra space at the front should allow for water cooling with shorter gpus. Slim drive is good for some people and you could fit the IO under it perhaps.
The 1b layout with a...
Nice overview! I've liked this since it was first released. Never had the money to buy it sadly... Ended up just getting an RVZ01 many years later.
I still think this is one of the best slim towers around, especially given how long its been out.
Its only stereo 2.1 and no wider than a keyboard. I'm doubtful it has good stereo effect
even more so that the claimed 5.1 Dolby will help matters.
Reviews also said its sleep timer is a pain. Will be interesting to see what you think of it.
Razers old 2.1 seemed better but they stop...
As a RVZ01 owner its OK... I really don't like the windows (also not good design for filters).
I'd buy a windowless model. Sadly Silverstone don't seem to do that much. My RV03 only came with a window, and the SG05 I wanted seems to aswell.
I like this new version. As for no front mic jack I don't seen an issue. The case is small, getting around the back is easy. I could do without the line out too. At a LAN I would just have your headset in the back.
The number of HTPC and "steambox" cases that support ODD is huge.
Why is it that the few or only options that don't, have to be changed?
Take one of the many options that suits you. Thats the last time I comment on the matter.
Looks wise this is the one I like most, with or without the ODD. I will be using the case with the stand.
In the end though it still leaves less room for the video card. But the lines and centered power Look fantastic when the case is vertical.
Super exciting, loved this style since the steam machine! I even got a rvz01.
Edit, Couple of comments
I actually like the hole/slot combination. I also like that the power cable is not right at the top.
The Stand is nice, the boltv1 and tiki were a little big and flashy for me. The rubber...
Closed. Its only left open if work is progressing slowly. My sff was open for a few weeks with a HDD hanging out. Temps and dust are better if its closed up, that and it just looks cleaner.
Yeah found another pic, Your're right I like it much more then the ML07. shame its gonna be plastic. http://cdn.overclock.net/1/15/159fc0d2_10450761_686319561433263_7773013637820757078_n.jpeg
Gah... Why is it everything I wanted from idea is being changed or discontinued?
House burnt down and everything will be gone before I have somewhere for it.
I bet that sit/stand will cost the earth In Australia, I want it though.
I hope they aren't planning on reducing the materials like...

Finally some sense. Its getting hard to read SFF news on most sites.
Its like they cant comprehend the power that sites in SFF. Or that you can install windows on any or these "steam box" Computes. Its like any SFF case just devolves into a steamOS debate.
This looks pretty good I am...
"Code - the backlight variant
The Code keyboard only be available with a standard US layout in 104-key and 87-key variants. LED backlighting is white with a white backplate. It will only only be available with Cherry MX Clear switches."
I think the backlightless one is on preorder atm. But...
I game pretty heavily 20-30+ hours each week. Unless you use the software, surround or mic features. You would be better off with an external DAC. Do you really need 600ohms? If you don't need the features simple quality is better.
