I regret buying it. The most beautifully boring grind ever. :/
Heck, WoW bores the heck out of me now too (in spite of my still raiding with my guild), but DA:O is the remedy to that boredom....
I am blind in my right eye and have been since birth, and because of this (in spite of having glasses) I have developed very good peripheral vision. I have also because of this developed a tilted head viewing angle, which is to say; close you right eye, turn you head and tilt a little to the...
Two DVI, 1 displayport like every other 6970 in existence right now.
As per their site, they list 1x HDMI because they provide you with an adapter. (vjc beat me too it :p)

You don't NEED to, but I do to "reset" my G1s that don't have the benefit of TRIM.
Instructions to do so.

And there is already a thread for this board?
http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1393960
Not to mention all the reviews and other forum threads out there that will give you (like they did me) a good idea of where to start and how to proceed.
Yeah, I noticed that too Reigns. Either they changed to nickle plated or maybe since Noctua discontinued it, the Taiwanese manufacturer is making knock-offs?
Already on X25M raid 0 here, it is sweet, but will suck if Intel really is going to stiff me and not give firmware update to support...
As you should be able to see in the first pic, the Noctua is mounted on the Asus stock NB base plate with heat pipe that runs to the mosfet cooler. So nothing is changed there. I am considering replacing the mosfet cooler as well as going direct contact NB cooling, but I'm not going to jump all...
Here are some pics of the Noctua NC-06 installed, and my first OC on the GENE. Taken at night, sorry for the poor (flash) lighting.
vtt 1.275
pll 1.85
qpi 1.275
dram 1.65
so far so good
Sooo... few observations on NB cooling.
Thermalright HR-05/IFX (and presumably non-IFX) does not fit over the heat pipe base plate. Heat pipes extend out too wide to the sides. Would have to shim it up to fit, or cut the base.
Zalman NBF47 I can't get its mounting hardware to line up at...
I actually thought the DLC was a bit more wordy than it needed to be, for either mission.
But Selvaria's mission is much better than Edy's, and worth it if you were to just get one, IMO. Plus I unlocked a cool weapon after playing Selveria's mission. Not sure if there was anything in Edy's...
Dual channel = cheaper. What makes it cheaper? It needs less pins to CPU (remember, the memory controller is on the CPU). 1156 vs 1366. X58/1366 was meant for workstation and enthusiast market, and just so happened to come out first (and just so happened to beat on AMD that much more). Why do...
Yes but why does that Dr charge $8k what he is contracted to an insurance company to only get paid $1k for the same service? Is this lower all the service is worth? Then why isn't this the cost for everyone? If he is getting less from insurance than the service is worth (or actually costs to...
I have first hand experience on heart surgeries and their costs in the good old USA. I had a minor one just last month and a major one two years ago (I've had 4 major since I was 10 with too many other minors to count [minor to me anyway]). Thankfully, I had insurance coverage of 100% in all but...
Its important, it just not 550 bones + cost of 2x Nahalem Xeon's important to me. I am just disappointed in Asus calling the P6T6 a workstation motherboard since they apparently don't understand the market segment. Wouldn't be the first time though...
9/10ths of gamers yes, 9/10ths of workstations users is way off the mark.
The video industry is firmly entrenched in using 1394. It will not be replaced by USB, and is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
Trivia: The F-22 Raptor uses the IEEE 1394B interface for all electronics...
P6T6, the one thing about this board that was a deal killer for me? No 1394... so you mean I have to use up one of those PCIe slots to put in a 1394 card to import video from my HD camcorder? And this on a claimed WORKSTATION board? EPIC FAIL.
Asus better correct this on the P6T7.
Valkyria > Star Ocean
I paid $60 for Valkyria and it was worth every penny.
And if you guys think the Valkyria story is silly, stay FAR away from Star Ocean... OMFG, lame.
I would buy one of these for $85 long before I ever bought an overpriced killer nic.

Also, you have PCIe room for a sound card and a NIC in the classified, unless you are using one of those slots for a dedicated...

Is it just me or does this game have whiny hero syndrome like all Anime. My god, I like Anime and all, but stop with the whiny little bitches please. Give me a hero with some freeking balls. Oh noes! I killed the earth in an alternate dimension after I was a total retard! Boo...
And there went Anand with a preview of the Classified which shows 1-3% slower depending on game/res from the Classified. This doesn't look much off from Kyle's results on the P6T6 with NF200. But really, that just means what? 1-2 FPS? For me that would be worth it in order to gain the extra...
Which is why I will wait for reviews of the EVGA Classified before buying.
x8 versus x16 will depend on graphics card(s), resolution and the individual game being run. Some combination's show slight advantage to x8, but usually at lower res. At really high res, you can see up to ~15%...
