I never in a million year thought it would work but the monitor can detect 3d mode using HD3D at 120hz off the DVI cable. Just like with the DP cable it enters 3d mode at the request of the computer. I will have to see if it any more reliable in this regard with DVI vs DP. I only had the DP...

Some GPUs only support duel DVI on one port so if there a color difference on the ports try a different port. You will probably also need to connect each monitor to one of your 3 cards. 3D going to be tricky to get running with that much horse power. HD3D support may be the only way to get...

    AMD Bulldozer / FX-8150 Desktop Performance Review @ [H]ardOCP

Supreme Commander uses 8 threads and Supreme Commander Forged alliance uses 12 threads. I would love to see someone benchmark these game but I have not seen a review site out there that used these games as a benchmark in quite a while.

I have a driver update for everyone. I have not done a hole lost of testing yet so i cannot say how stable these drivers are but the AMD Catalyst 11.10 pre release drivers that were created for rage and battlefield 3 are finally recognizing the monitor as a HD3D monitor over display port in...

If you can run the monitor in 120hz mode with nvidia 3d software enabled there no reason it won’t work it just may not look as good as using the screen with its built in glass in 120hz frame sequential mode. As mentioned before the monitor was engineering for a different style of shutter glass...

I suppose iz3d is kind of always on. You can deactivate the driver whenever you want though as well. I believe it just watches for which programs are running then start intercept and altering all the DX calls. This is way easier then using a launcher. Same reason I hate Creative and Alchemy. (I...

These are actually both interconnected issues. DDD needs AMD HD3D to be recognized for frame sequential mode (I have not used DDD since the first few days I had the monitor so this could have changed. They just seem harder to use for me). Unfortunately DisplayPort and DVI are not recognized as...

I check my glasses form the 2011 tv stuff I got to go with the monitor and your right they are 45 degrees off phase form vertical with this monitor. I can’t help but wonder if the tv themselves are also 45 degrees off phase or they did this so you can lay on your side and watch the tv. But...

My monitor only had a misbehaved pixel on the far left on the edge of the screen dead center that was stuck white for the first day or so it never happened again. One also appear in the upper left corner about one week latter but when away after a few days never to return as well. Maybe the...

If you are on vista 11.5b hot fix does not work it won’t even install correctly and if you force it you have to use last known good configuration to get back to you old one( you can probably also command line fix it but that a pain). If it enables frame sequential then yes you get a full quality...

Well mine has a similar right eye cross talk issue (ghosting like) problem. I still have not tried movies but it's present at any point in the screen as far as I can tell regardless of whether i have 2d-3d conversion mode running or native frame sequential. But the right I crosstalk for me is...

Remember the T models are not the same as the S models. T models are designed as TV and as such may not have the same quality image processing hardware and can only except 60hz input signals. The S models are designed as computer monitors and can handle 120hz input signals.

I finally got 3D working fairly well for me in World of Warcraft using IZ3D. Here my current setup. GPU:HD6970 Connection: Display Port (DVI also works) Driver: Driver 11.6b (I think this will work fine with 11.5b(windows 7 only) or 11.6 but i did not try anything older. ) Monitor...

More info... The center button on the arrow pad is the input select (for some reason mine was not configured out of the box for auto select so it was stuck on HDMI for a while till I figured it out. The input mode swaps form HDMI -> DP -> DVI.) I only tested DVI input so far on a HD6970 with...

Ok I just got mine today. I have only had time to look at the glasses so far and I find it amusing how easy it is to not realize they put the battery with the cleaning cloth and not in the glasses. So I make you wonder how many people will try running the monitor in 3d mode with the glasses...

Anyone tried out iz3d solution yet in the nvidia camp. They supposedly have nvidia support working with out eye flipping in there 1.13 build candidates you should be able to test it in trial mode this is a non official release so it may still have bugs. To the best of my understanding Nvida...

Hum I thought iZ3D and triDef were designed to both be graphics card brand agnostic. Did the monitor come with triDef? Thanks, for the info on the warranties card I can order in peace now. I hate how Samsung being so quite about this. It make it so uncertain when the monitor actually going...
