Is that a fact, that the PSPgo is going to be taking up some space on that built-in 16gb, though?
As far as I know, the current PSP's have a built-in cache of separate memory for the OS and whatnot. I don't see why they would change that now, just because they have some extra space to use in...
Do you realize WHY it costs more money? Because you no longer HAVE to buy a memory stick with it. 16gb Memory Sticks (which is now built-in) go for AT LEAST $70.
How much is a PSP2000/3000, again?
$170 for the base PSP experience
~$70 for the built-in storage you get
Do the math and tell me if...
It's called development time.
Believe it or not, but every 3D game you've ever played has had this problem in production. The game is a ways off - relax, people.
Honestly, I didn't like the game much during the beta - it was a nightmare of a beta.
But, I'm a sucker for these high-profile PSN releases, so I bought it... and I don't regret it one bit. While there are some Matchmaking issues to speak of at the moment, the actual gameplay is an absolute...
Create a Chat Room for you and your friend.
Bam.
Note that there's no voice chat, though. :( Just text but hey, you didn't specify! lol
I'm sure voice chat is a feature to come in time.
Wasn't the expansion supposed to be multiplayer or something?
EDIT: Nvm clicked the link. lol
Sounds great. I'll definitely be checking it out when it's released.
Except... Sony isn't behind the leak. The Sixth Axis site is.
Either way, it's probably Mass Effect, but that should come as no surprise considering it's an EA franchise now.
Meh. My Shepard's on my PC so I wouldn't get it.
Widely reported? This is the very first time I've heard of such an issue on the PS3 version, and I played the shit out of it yesterday with a bunch of friends who were also playing all day (they would have said something if they had such issues).
Shit, I got two 30+ minute clips up on my...
That's news to me. Surprising as hell, as well. lol
EDIT: At the end of the trailer it says MechWarrior is a registered trademark of Microsoft, and that "some materials are owned and subject to copyright by Microsoft". So yeah, they didn't sell anything back. They just licensed the rights to...
They were hardly Battlefield-y though.
This is the first true Battlefield for consoles.
That said, it's gotten an 8.5 from IGN. The PS3 review is worth a look, though (check the tagline + first paragraph). lmao
Fucking IGN.
Oh, and it's available on XBL now, if I'm not mistaken.
No. That would be Piranha Bytes.
Piranha Games is another development house altogether... one I've never heard of, to be honest.
Looking them up reveals a pretty shitty repertoire:
* Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza (PC)
* EA Playground (DS)
* Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (PSP)
* Need...
Yeah, just give em time guys.
Believe me when I say that when everything is in working order (the servers + authentication servers are the problem right now), the game runs extremely well. But, since there's millions of people hitting these servers right now, they're obviously overloaded. My...
The Authorization Servers are being hammered right now, so you may have issues with the training and stats saving. I've yet to have a single stat save since this morning, before it went live. lol
Man, and I thought Steam would be able to handle this launch. lol
Ah well... it's usually always like this for big AA releases. Things will be smoothened out within the next few days.
It's actually quite good.
Over the last week, the beta builds have been somewhat laggy (especially the servers), but last night I played some matches with the newest build (most likely the one being released in a few minutes), and it was shockingly smooth.
This was on the Ranch map, though...
Hey guys, the game will be going live at 2-3pm EST
I've been beta testing it for a few months and it's really come a long way. If you loved AA2, you will love AA3 and it's improvements/additions. :)
Oh, and the FP beta IS behind on the beta builds, but just by one. The 'real' betas are...
Why did you ignore my "it's against Valve's previous track record?"
It's THE main cause for this whole issue. If it was Activision doing something like this, we'd all understand and give a collective "meh".
However, it's VALVE we're talking about!
These are the guys that gave us how many updates...
Update on the embargo - yes, it seems it's even later than "this afternoon" as I said earlier.
Better yet, IGN didn't even receive review copies of the PC or PS3 versions.
I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that this game's a stinker.
So far the impressions aren't looking too hot.
Not to mention the fact that the review embargo is still in place until mid-day today, the RELEASE DATE of the game.
Not a good sign.
It's against Valve's previous track record.
Sure, they could be switching it up on us (it's understandable if the "free update" model doesn't work financially for them), but fuck that - we were told we were going to get plenty of additional content down the line, more in line with TF2's update...
Hey, you never know. Maybe they're releasing it soon to spice up an imminent announcement. ;)
They released SFA on PSN just before SF4 came out, after all.
I really don't remember, man. Sorry. lol
I didn't really go for the shards island by island, I just picked them up if I happened across them... up until the 3rd island when I went back and got them all.
You also had the Lightning Storm in the demo, and you don't get that power in the full game until the third island.
It's just a demo. lol, they wanted to show what powers are available in the full game. lmao
Anyway, I've had the game since Thursday, got Platinum on Wednesday. Excellent...
More complaints as I'm getting further in the game:
The sidequests vary from a selection of about 5 or 6 different missions. I thought the objectives and whatnot would change once you get to the second island but no... same crap.
It's really unfortunate - personally, I think if you make an...
