Sorry, I should have been more specific with what we are trying to do. Basically, I'll have a router that connects about 4 of these RE1000s via cat5e. I'm trying to provide wireless throughout a dentist office. I am curious about a guest network. Do most of the new routers (ie. E4200) come...
Have any of you guys used the Linksys RE1000 wireless extenders? I'm trying to cover a large area, so I will be using a couple of these units. Just curious if you all had any luck with them or have any other suggestions.
Thanks for the help. The problem is that I'm not sure what the day will be depending on the year. It will always be the 3rd thursday of february, but not always the 16th. Does that make sense?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this situation. I have a website that has a ton of static set dates on it. Every year the dates will need to be adjusted for the upcoming year (ie. Feb 18th 2010 will be Feb 17th 2011). I was thinking of creating a function or maybe just an echo...
Looking for a Tomato-capable router, please let me know what you have.
Linksys WRT54G v1-v4, WRT54GS v1-v4, WRT54GL v1.x, WRTSL54GS (no USB support)
Thanks in advance.

I've got a mac laptop that is associated with an Active Directory domain and my user account is set to a mobile account. All is well when I am at work attached the network, but at home it takes a couple of minutes to get logged in. I've read a bit online that it could be a DNS problem. Is...
It was working before and if it was the speakers then the headphone jack should work correct? Well neither the headphone jack or speakers will produce sound. Thats why I think it some sort of driver or something that didn't get loaded.
We recently got a first gen aluminum macbook pro and upgraded it from tiger to leopard (just a leopard install dvd) and now there is no sound coming out of the speakers. Even on startup you do not hear the normal Apple "chime". Tried zapping the PRAM, but to no avail. I'm up for suggestions...
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. What do you mean by one-time event? I guess because of the date at the top? The date thing is kind of weird to me too, but i think that's how most rodeo sites are advertised.
I agree with the first part, but the way their site is organized...this seems to be the best fit. The top menu always stays the same and is their core pages. The links on the main page are to the different sections within the site. Thanks for your input though. I agree that it all needs to...
Ok, I see what you are talking about now. Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into fixing this tomorrow.
Fair enough. Just curious, how would you arrange the content? I agree with the dividing bars. Their site now is very unorganized and cluttered, so I was going for a simple easy to...
I don't think he ever said, "hey, RubbingAlcoholic, do you think the gift I got my girlfriend was a good one?". Try to stay on point.
I have a friend that doesn't have a data plan, but has his phone jailbroken. I don't think this is recommended, but its worth researching.
I'm putting together a website for a rodeo association so please take that into consideration. They want a simple design that is organized and easy to navigate since their current layout is very cluttered and unorganized.
The only sections done are Livestock and the Calendar link. Please let...

PM with any questions.
I'm trying to find a decent php event calender to add to a customer's website so that they can edit it and the public can view the events. I'm working with somewhat of a strict timeframe, so I'm debating on integrating a gmail calendar or some sort of calendar service. Anyone have any ideas?
Basically, what they will need to do is upload results of different events to the website so the contestants and open public can view them. I would think most of these documents will be PDFs that are linked on the website.
I setup Joomla on a test box and have been playing with it. I got...
So I built a website for a company and they are wanting to edit several of the pages fairly frequently. I've thought about creating my own CMS type admin site for the actual site, but they upload tons of pdfs, pictures, etc... I think I could make something work, but I don't have a ton of time...
I work at a university and we are getting ready to replace 30 macs ranging from iMacs to macbooks to macbook pros with 10.4 on up to the latest Leopard release.
We have a mac server here and have the imaging portion setup to do mass installs. However, our backup solution seems to be less...
If you have to type in anything, does the harmony allow for that or would you have to use a keyboard? Just curious since I have a harmony 880, but am trying to decide on the dinovo mini or just a IR receiver.
