So Google finally released a 64-bit version of Chrome for Mac. I love Chrome but it destroys battery life on OS X, so I try to use Safari as much as possible. I'm hoping the 64-bit version of Chrome will help with that on OS X. Anyone else install it and have any results from their usage?

Yeah, I think that will still occur due to the lighting in most offices. The outside shot is what confirms it for me, anyway. The low-light shots are still very yellow due to the poor auto white balance, but that's okay. I hope they'll fix it in a software update.

Pardon my ignorance, but I've never had to visit an Apple Genius before or request support. If I ask for an exchange, do they replace it with a new phone or a refurbished model? Also, do I bring the box, headphones, cable, etc. with it?

I ordered it through AT&T. I just made an appointment with a "Genius" for tomorrow evening at a local store. I hope they do replace it. I use the camera a lot, and can't just let the purple-aspect slide. It's blatant.

What do I do? Just call Apple, or take it into a store? This can't be normal or expected. I've seen other folks' photos and they're not like this.

Decided to give it a shot just for kicks. It doesn't help. Upon taking the MicroSIM out, it looked very stable/normal to me.

i guess if people are having such issues, it can't hurt, and if that's all it is, then El Jobso is right that there is no issue. I guess I can try it just for kicks.

It's been super speedy for me on both G and N networks.

No case. No protective film either. It's not as noticeable when there are a lot of colors involved, but if it's just a blank image, or one with consistent color throughout (such as a blue sky), the tint will be off. I've tried cleaning the lens as well.

I agree- the battery life has definitely improved over the 3G/3GS. Definitely a welcomed advance.
