Thanks for the Support (yes the Aio Fan in pull Direction makes 10 degrees less!), thanks to dondan for the nice case!
Today my smaller ram was arriving (corsair ddr4-3200 without led). So I can close the case and the project.
Note: corsair ddr4-4000 and the Asrock z370 don‘t seems to be...
Because EVGA cards are 2slot-ones with good cooling Solution!
To fit the EVGA 1080ti ftw3 into the case - you have to Open some screws of the case, but it fits!
No, you are disunderstanding me! I'm using the noctua allways on top of the Radiator (all direct under the psu with it's cables). My question is about the air-direction of the noctua.
push/downwards: (pressing air from the case down)
pull/upwards: (taking air from below the case to the inside...
Please, can anyone with the Asetek Aio answer my question?
Do you use the Fan Above the Radiator with Push (press Air down, outside the case) or pull (pull Air Up inside the case) Direction?
I've ordered now smaller corsair ram (not the RGB LED versions anymore)... Did someone need's 2x 16GB (32GB) Corsair Vengeance LED RGB 3200-DDR4? May be for a slightly better Price?
You pull the cold air from under the case, heated from the asetek radiator to the inside of the case, direct to the cables of psu and to the gpu? really?
It is all EU!
funny: I've cutted my radiator srews to 20mm to fit. With the fanguard I'll need new screws!
May be for the akasa 80mm*80mm*12mm fans I'll order fanguards too. Then I could install also These fans.
I'm not sure if you will put the GPU there.... Is it optional?
But - if this power cable would be something about 30-40cm long, you could it route upwards between GPU and PSU and then from above the psu along the side of the psu down to it's connector again. Thats my plan.
But the...
I've the same Problem with the higher LED-RAMs and the AIO tubes.
I've rotated the radiator with 180 degrees. So the tubes can be placed arround the ram. But: the cables of the psu are then another problem... to much cables...there.
May be, longer Boardcables will help resolve this problem...
I'm for sure it's only an improvement of time for Dan itself (logistics). 3M has need a very long time to deliver these parts. May be LianLi is needing only a few weeks to produce them.
But may be - if the new would be better in fit - there would be a new possibility to install 2 extra slim...
F**k! I've forgotten to plug in my RAM yesterday! Yes - it seems to be a big problem! F**k, F**k - I've higher LED RAMs!
Second: are you able to install your EVGA GPU with this alignment of the AIO? The second tube is sitting just in line with the long gpu!
Did you removed the front USB? Do...
No Chance! The Most boards will have their Powerplugs direct before the plugs of the rotated psu. I‘ve tested it yesterday with my Asrock. The 90 degrees aren‘t possible.
The 180 degrees are not so good for temps! The Output from psu direct as Input for cpu cooling- no!
I ´ve delid the cpu again. There was to less liquid metal and too much silicone... now I ´ve taken more liquid metal and lesser silicone. A gap in the silicone I ´ve now also included.
I ´m so silly and destroyed my fatalty board! I was not care enough about the cpu contacts at the socket...
I want to renew my question about i7-8700K and asetek 92mm AIO and temperatures....
I didn't benchmarked the cpu/gpu. I'm using games for instead. In PCars2 (2550*1440 full details, 100fps (sync)) I got nearly 78-80°C @CPU with almost only 25% load (1-2 cores) @ ~4200MHz. This seems to me as to...

the right way of the AOI radiatorfandirection should be allways directly outside the case, right? mounted at the bottom of the case, the hot air (and it is very hot there) would be pressed down outside the case. (But there is a chance to get some of the heat back in case by building a loop...
I've prebuild my PC now since a few weeks into an normal pc case (without case fans). The cpu - a i7-8700k I've had delid with liquid metal. With some situations I'm not sure done this in right way. The idle temps in win10 are around 48-50° with the asetek AIO. Is this to high? With more gaming...
Have now ordered 2 akasa 80mm slim fans for mounting below and above the Mainboard. The cpu will be cooled with an Asetek AIO.
May question is now: how about the air flow?
the AIO blows hot air to the bottom of the case (may be higher Standing feets would be a good suggestion to raise the...
Wich Screws are required for screw the noctua 92mm fan to the asetec AIO? 15mm? But from where to buy?
I‘m Kickstarter #91 but still waiting for the new case.... may be week #2...
dondan can you integrate (or Check) a possibility to use internal wifi & bt antennas in your new design?
Background: I ´m using an iMac now. There is all included - wifi antennas incl. You Don ´t Need These ugly (and big) external antennas from your mainboard. I ´m switching now to your Dan a4...
Is there anyone who installed an additional Fan just before the Asetek aio cpu-cooler to have an airflow to the vrm´s?
Uses anyone internal wifi antennas?
Kann man eigentlich über dem Aio Asetek direkt vor der cpu noch nen Gehäuselüfter z.bsp am Seitenblech des dan a4 installieren? Hat das jemand gemacht?
