Hi all. I have two gaming headsets (so headphone + mic) that the cables have just worn out on over time and I'd like to build replacement cables. I realize I could just replace the headsets (they're cheap) but like the idea of building new cables.

Well, I can't speak to Patriot's full line of products, but I've been very happy with my Patriot SDRAM, flash drive (including an old Xporter that's still working fine) and the box office is a nice product too.

I know I still have a K6 around (but that's less than 15 years old!), but I don't know if I have anything older.

I see these go on sale at Newegg several times a year. The current special has the pair for $79.99 (with $2.99 shipping). What's the general opinion here of these as a starting set of stereo speakers? I realize I'll need an amp of some sort to drive them.
