The HyperX Cloud 2 headphones have their own DAC built in, you won't need a sound card.

For the CPU do you want Intel or AMD? For the GPU do you want NVidia or AMD?

If your Chromebook has a SD/Micro SD slot you could use that instead, they won't get that hot.

I had a POS Gateway and under the warranty they would send you the part then give you phone instructions on how to replace the part. Literally I replaced ever part except the floppy drive and sound card. That was in 1996 LOL.

Recently I've read on a couple of tech forums where people have had bad experiences with Gigabyte RMA. With that said, I am currently running a Gigabyte video card and have had no problems and have had no problems with the other two Gigabyte cards. The one MSI card I had many years ago was DOA.

One of those RJ45 connectors should be an in port so you'd want to connect your router or modem to that in port & that should work.

My whole family has Iphones Two are 5's and two are 6's & every time we get into the car we plug it in to the stereo system. So no headphone jack, no upgrade for us.
