I think of more concern with Rads like this is flow rates. There is a mile of pipe here. My guess is it looks to be a four-time parallel layout (typical MORA) through 80 tubes or approx. 33 meters (not mm) of pipe running through the 200mm fan optimized MO-RA IV 400 fins. In terms of head...
I've had a Phobya G-Changer Xtreme NOVA 1080 Radiator 60mm thick with 9-120mm pwm fans combined with dual D5 pumps all external. I use quick connects to my PC. It has seen 3 different builds and a few upgrades in 6 years service. It will easily last another 6 years. However if I was in the...
Sorry to rain on parade. It's been my experience silent case starve for air flow which is essential for a water loop. Fans struggle to have enough static pressure as it is limited air flow makes it worse. I don't see a lot of room for water cooling either. Rad in top even the thinnest would be...
I have dabbled in WMC, Plex, and HTPC for 15 years. It has always been a major pain to get all working together well. Now with HDMI 2.1 things are getting a bit better at least from what I'm reading it’s a more viable solution because not only Video quality is better but so too is the audio out...
Yes. Let's say you have a 65" monitor for gaming and movies. Your recommended viewing distance would be 8.1 to 13.5 feet depending on personal preference. Now consider reading the windows desktop from that distance in 4k let alone mini maps stats etc while gaming. I'm not saying it can't be done...
I think you have to keep the two separate (Home Theater/PC Gaming). That said, Home Theater + Console Gaming is a better fit.
Problem is screen size and proximity to it.
A screen large enough to create a home theater experience would put you a good distance from it when PC gaming.
And that is...
Yes very well and as mentioned you can buy the THX license
I should also mention early versions of the software had bugs which I believe are all worked out now.
My experience with customer support was excellent. They even sent me a beta to test which fixed it.
Very quick to reply and help. I...
Been enjoying the Alpha so far so good. Some minor glitches but the basic are solid. Leveled up to 10 last night looking forward to tonight. aka Abishai619
I would give up OLED for a 2nd mon no gaming. Beside burn in potential it's just over priced/kill for browsing and email and readability of fonts is better on LCD. 27" is the perfect size for mating with the 3440DWF in landscape as physical height will match and if you go with a 1440p so to will...
I assume dimensions and closet location. approx 11x12 I suggest built in cabinets easily obtained and cheap prebuilt at Lowes or Home Depot. Add a countertop. Now with lots of storage buy a platform for the Full sized mattress (guessing) for a little more storage under. To round it out get a...
The opinions on the boards are subjective based on specs. The compilations of specs is useful but I would prefer seeing how they compare performance wise. The only data I saw beyond specs was VRM thermals.
I do not disagree with what you and others have recommended here. My point is no matter the current or future best practices be prepared to make changes minimizing consequences. I guess it depends on what your definition of "long term usage install" means. Certainly my response speaks to that...
Best for long term as previously stated is to let windows choose the size of your main OS drive partitions. A fast 1TB drive is more than enough.
Buy separate drives fast as you can afford 2 to 4 TB.
After Windows Install move User, Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Video, and Download folders to a...
You could try running Excel in a sandbox. How to use Windows Sandbox Windows 11 if it works there you could add other user to your PC with Office Installed there. Go to Windows settings scroll down to other users click on it and click add account.
edit: I didn't see pendragon1 post
Inspired by this discussion here are my ΔT results. Maybe some clarity...

I will assume your sig rig is what we are talking about. I do not have a 4090 but I'm somewhat acquainted with there +/-. I know there boost clock is tied to many temps sensors throughout the GPU if any are over spec the boost is gimped. I know they are hungry for power and there are issues with...
Use one good GPU on a clean install of drivers, use DDU. It seem like you know both GPUs have issues ("I tried using just one video card, some issues on both cards.") so try just one with no issues. Windows explorer and GPU drivers go hand in hand.
I would upgrade the PSU 1200w minimum. Both the 14700k and 4090 are quit power hungry
You will need 12VHPWR for that GPU which can deliver up to 600 watts of power to the GPU alone.
I'd recommend the Corsair HX1200i
The GT is simply not compatible from what I can see at 1st glance.
If you plan...
TOUGHFAN 14 White high static pressure fan can perform at a maximum operating speed of up to 2000 RPM, producing a consistent airflow of 119.1 CFM with 3.54 mm-H2O static pressure, and maintaining a low audio noise level of 33.2 dB-A. May not be the best high static but may be the look you want...
Sorry for your luck. I wish I had anything like a B&H or Micro Center close to me for that in person thing which may or may not be better. Instead we enjoy the thrills of mail order.
I had a similar incident a while back with a CPU which had been working fine, but all the sudden has issues...
Most RADs are within +/- 1-5 degrees in terms of performance all are better than Air coolers and 99% of all AIO's. I'd say fan selection is more important than the rad choice. I've been watercooling 20+ years and prefer Alphacool Radiators. In terms of performance they have always been in the...
