My son recently damaged my computer, he dumped about 350ml of water in it while it was running
I am going to have to (most likely) replace the Motherboard, and MAYBE the CPU... with that in mind, I would like to look at budget combos from MICROCENTER.
I have the following...

First thing I did was tear everything down and blow dry the board, After that I placed the mainboard in a plastic bag full of quick rice and tied it off
so what should I do from here? and what is likely to be dead?
I have an Asus X54c-BBK3 laptop, that was recently dropped (the joys of having kids) and the hard drive is now dead... I have been debating on weather I would get a 64GB SSD, OR another 320GB old school hard drive. The price is the same no matter what I get ($55)
The only game I plan to...
I am open to the idea of used... I want a little bit of room to breathe...

Microcenter 64GB Sandforce G2 1222 SSD keeps dropping and having to be hard rebooted

SORRY: the name of the thread should be 10 watt DDC is so loud
it is the loudest thing in my HTPC, how can I quite this thing down?
it just wines and wines and wines, I feel like I have a new born baby in my HTPC
ok so right now I have a pair of 74GB raptors (the old school ones) in raid 0 for my boot drive, while they are pretty snappy when compared to a single 7200 rpm drive they are a little lacking

my buddy then had...
