I made the thread.
I do have a screen protector on my phone currently, its the 10 max. Only reason is I bought a three pack and had a couple left when I made this thread. May as well use them was my thinking, I mean the money was already spent. All I had left was the frustration of putting...
So the charging port / synch port (whatever it’s called) is physically dead. The phone suddenly registered “water” in the port and now the port is non functional.
Basically two metal prongs popped out and the lightning port cable no longer fits. There is a physical barrier there
I have an iPhone Xs, max, whatever the larger size is. I was replacing the screen protector because it had a crack in it. I have a glass screen protector.
While I am doing it, I am wondering if it is even necessary or even worthwhile to do.
I keep doing it, because I always have. That is...
Been talking to people at work, who are far from experts.
general advice, which is usually good. Is to stay away from proprietary parts, and ones that can use various file inputs. Their recommendation was to look at the ender lineup.
maybe I should aim lower with my first printer, as in aim...
Looking to get into 3D printing.
Rather than ask for a blanket what printer to buy, do y’all have any recommendations on where to start reading?
Any good online sources? Good YouTube sources?
My initial budget is $1000. I absolutely do not want a machine that I’ll have to modify for it to...
I’ve changed over the years. I used to build a new computer every 2 year (and update in the middle). I used to game often.
I haven’t had a desktop in a couple of years, and even before that, no updates in about 4-5 years.
I’m wondering if WiFi will be enough for me? Since that thought...
I have a media closet right behind where the main TV is going. That room / closet is where all the networking gear will go. All the TV gear, all the security camera interface. Everything network related. This isn’t the first time I have done this, in respect to TV and connections.
I have no idea what I am doing.
I've had VLC for ages, and an iPhone since they first came out. I used to be able to highlight VLC as an app in iTunes and add files. When iTunes switched to "Music" it completely lost me.
How do I add files to specific apps now?
I really am that lost...
Exceptionally thankful the forums have an ignore feature.
I think my core networking gear is 9 years old. Corresponds to when I stopped looking into it, because its not my primary occupation. Its a hobby of sorts. Im looking at new equipment and its overwhelming. In the design phase...
Cost of the cable is irrelevant. It’s the associated cost of the equipment that’s the issue. Hence fiber is out.
Does cat7 use the same connections? Etc?
Right now I have 100/1000, I would like to have 100/1000/10Gb capabilities.
To use 10gb intranet, I’m willing to upgrade my system.
I have a dedicated “media” closet. It’ll have all the ethernet cabling run to a single space. It’s a sizable space.
All my internet / intranet gear will be on that rack. I’m having 2 cables run per location at the same time. Labor is the greatest cost, running 2 cables will be trivial...
Going to build a 4000 square foot home, hopefully my last.
What networking cabling should I use? I don't think I need fiber optic, and all the associated costs are high.
So I'm thinking of cat6 or cat6e.
Now I learned there is cat7 and cat8.
Want wiring for this year and hopefully for...
I haven’t had a serious problem with the HP app, it works. Example, the scanner portion of the app with just stop working. I have to reinstall and boom, it’s back fine.
Thats all. Right now I’m looking at the Canon brand, specifically their printer that takes bulk ink.
We really dont...
