Ubuntu drive present in machine = can't get into bios
Ubuntu drive removed from the machine = can enter bios
reason why I installed Ubuntu is a single program, that program requires nvidia drivers with CUDA support to operate, generic driver will not do.
btw if anyone care, I still blame this on Ubuntu.
