What reasonably priced consumer item is being held back by PCIe 3.0? I'm one of the people that ordered several 5800x's from amazon and the estimated ship date was always 1/21 or later. I would love to have the new AMD, but the 5800x and the similar motherboard was $100 more than a 10850k...

I recently upgraded from 100Mbps to 400Mbps. My modem and switch will give 400Mbps, but my router will only give 80-90Mbps from wired and wireless. I've upgraded the firmware and reset it, but I'm out of ideas as what's next. Any suggestions?
I continue to make posts on the tp-link forums, but...

- HyperX Cloud Revolver S <-- Heavy and too tight.
- Logitech G430 <-- Feels cheap and uncomfortable.
- HyperX Cloud II <-- Comfortable, not too tight, and feels great on a small head.
We might order the M50x and choose between the cloud II and M50x.
For the people waiting on the 9700k, are you mad that the 10700k is around the second corner or do you enjoy the thought of maybe owning the 9700k sometime in 2018 or 2019?
In other news, my 8700k was good last month, working excellent today, will be excellent next year and will continue to be...
The wife and I have gone through many headphones and all of them have been too tight(squeezing our head when they are on) on both of our heads. I finally found the ATH 900x open that is great for a big head like mine, but they are too big for my wife. What else is there for her to try? Also, I'd...
I bet more people upgrade their CPU/MOBO after using them for years instead of incrementally upgrading their CPU everytime a new one comes out. The 9700k or even the next one after that will not make the 8700k obsolete. The 8700k was excellent last month, right now, next month, next year and...
I bought some modmics and no more issues. Also moved our desks another 2 feet apart, and are about 8 feet apart in total.
We are sticking with mics always on and haven't experienced any echos or picking up sound from our open headphones.
I finally got my wife's computer setup and we started gaming together. Everything is great except when it comes to our mics. We currently use discord to chat during games, but the other person's mic is picking up both of our voices and creates an echo. I use a blue yeti and she uses a cheap...
