Your cooling solution is not enough I suppose.
Here is my with just water cooling.
But 14900k has a bit more temp headroom and achieves a bit more performance than 13900k, so technically is fine as an upgrade for those that run benchmarks.
I was out of town a few days ago and using my wife's computer, she only uses YouTube in the browser.
So I watched a 90 minute video and every 3 minutes there was a 2 min advertisement - If anyone agrees with this crazy storm of adds - fine, I'm not and I'll use anything but not premium. Google...
If you share YouTube videos in any forum, will wachers see the ads? No? Did YouTube lose money this way?
uBlock and similar can be added as extensions in Google Chrome, no? Why they do not remove it from its store?
I would love it if YouTube became a paid service, would be very cool for...
If Expo doesn't work fine - he can manage timings manually or change the RAM with other brands/modules. He is a reviewer and tests many RAM modules, so it is just a matter of wish...
I like his videos and I subscribe to his channel, but that doesn't mean that I will not criticize him. :)
If Jays2cents can't stabilize 6000MT/s memory he is lame or just lies because of any reason (e.g. Intel/someone (sponsor)), probably the second.
His video about that is very funny... Both platforms can have a problem with DDR5 XMP/Expo default settings. There are many ways to get help (if he...
24" monitor for gaming?
For Tetris is fine, but for real gaming... mmm I prefer a slightly bigger monitor with good stats as more Hertz something like 200 or more. I have friends that play some games on 48" OLED :)
Apple produces things for work, browsing, movies or something like entertainment...
Thread Director is not a free download, but most of it is implemented in Win 11.
From what I know Windows 11 manages threads well, but Windows 10 produces more FPS. But that's because Win 11 has more built-in garbage and there's a change in memory<->page file management (and it hits Ryzen more...
Most of these programs will be in the background and will just use more RAM, yes the FPS will drop with a few numbers, but at all a little because they will just up a bit the latency and nothing more.
Of course, if Chrome eats most of your RAM then you can get a stutter :)
Boost can hit 6GHz but it is weak, if you set all P cores to 5.8-5.9GHz, E cores to 4.4-4.6GHz and mange the voltage, the performance will jump.
Yes it can be set higher but mostly for just benchmarks and rare for 24/7.
The main problem here is that the user does not tune his system.
I have a colleague who has 5600x and his CPU scores 9600 points in CB23, my 5600x score 12200 points, and that is just the CPU. Did you think that we have the same PC experience? :)
The x3D chips don't have a lot of OC capabilities, that's true. After delimiting it can run ~100-150MHz over spec, which isn't that small, but it's mostly for fun.
But normal CPUs have about ~12-15% headroom for that - isn't that enough? Yeah, it's not 25-40% like years ago, but it's okay...
If you want max performance and don't care about price, the choice is only one -> Intel 13-14 i9 gen.
If you look for price/performance your choice is 7800x3D.
Youtubers at the moment are a bit "angry" on Intel, and because of that, they show only "stock" results. And this is bad, but I can...
There is one new thing that is good with 14 gen, they are cooler than 13 gen, clock for clock, and near the same watts so around 10C which one is fine. Not many reviewers mention it, but just a few of them and a few ppl that I know.
I don't think that this is a reason for this leak, because this would work in the opposite direction :)
A friend of mine with "a little bit" tweaked 13900kf (delidded) (24/7 profile).
14'th gen is the same as performance.
It's all about the performance level that the user looking for.
If you want max FPS in games with 4090 (for lower is pointless to talk), max overclocked Intel i9 13-14 gen (with 8000-8400MT/s RAM) will be over max overclocked 7000x3D (with 6400MT/s RAM).
For stock performance and we just put...
Are the Ray-traced lights manipulated by developers, and are they real or again the developer's vision of how they are traced? :)
And if they are developer's vision what's the difference with the Raster kind of their vision?
And if we just get more from the same but not really the same but a bit...
The mouse had internal memory and 7 different profiles so everything can be stored in it and you can turn off the software. I am like you everything that I don't need is closed :)
Here is a random video which can show part of the opportunities of this software, because it is very powerful...
My new toy (mouse) :)
Bloody W95 Max Naraka
The quality of the plastic is not as good as I want, but for that price (~30$) is perfect.
The software, metal boots, and sensor are fine, so it's not a bad mouse.
