I believe you are the only fanboi in this thread that can't admit that the connector that nVidia used for the RTX4090 is not adequate for the amount of power the card is pulling through the connector. And I am an nVidia fanboi but I can' admit that the make mistakes just like everyone else does.
Holy shit, you still haven't bought a GPU yet? I have been following along with your threads and I gotta say just buy something already. You aren't buying a house or a kidney here.
Seriously, just get what is you like that is in your price range and I am sure you will be really happy just to get...
And it seems that nVidia hired those idiots to design the connector. This is coming from a guy who has been building PC's since the early 90's and has always used nVidia cards until I got my son a 6600xt last Christmas. The other 4 computers in my house use a RTX 3070, two RTX 3060ti's and a GTX...
You see stuttering in every game. It's either your build or you are very sensitive to it. My kids have almost the exact same build and one says he has stuttering and the other doesn't. Just one of those things.
Have to disagree with you on Giancarlo Stanton in FC6. I really like him and I thought he was really good in the game.
But I could not agree with you more about the 3rd person view in the camps. That was absolutely horrible.
Secure Boot is enabled. It is a fresh install on all brand new hardware.

It's for my wife to watch Netflix and do her scrapbook sruff.
I am having the same problem doing a clean install on a Ryzen 5 5500. fTPM is enabled in the BIOS but Windows 11 says the PC doesn't meet the requirements. Didn't have this issue on the 4 other Ryzen builds I did.
I have an old 4790k system that has a Corsair memory stick that had a heat spreader fall off. Any recommendations for some thermal tape to get it back on? It has been stiing in my closet for years and my son has been going to Washburn University and wants to turn it into a Linux box.
I got my son a XFX rx6600 for Christmas and this came with it as well as Dead Island 2. I haven't asked him yet if he played but I am guessing he isn't going to be able to max it out on the video card.
I have been using nVidia since the late 90's and just picked up a XFX 6600 from Best Buy for $239 to replace my son's GTX780 (don't laugh). He is playing at 1080p and the reviews I read seemed to be very positive at that resolution. I am really looking forward to giving an AMD video card a shot...
