The desk should not wobble. Is it on carpet? If so, maybe it'll wobble a bit. Find whatever screws are loose and tighten them.
All the edgy plastic around the Phantom turns me off - not as clean looking as the 600T, IMO. The FT02 is beautiful, though; wish I kept mine....

strange how drivers install, though. i'd try:
1) uninstall any drivers
2) disable in device mgr
3) reboot and disable in BIOS
4) reboot into...
get the hardware id from device manager

Also check for any new firmware releases for that drive. I haven't had any driver issues with BD drives, but there sure are a lot of firmware...
