I'm looking at two routers.
The EA6900 vs EA7400
The EA6900 is the AC1900 and cheaper than the EA7400 which is a AC1750.
Even their MSRP is cheaper on the AC1900 router.
What gives? Isn't the AC1900 suppose to be better if so why is the 1750 more money.
I'm trying to make a decision and kinda...
This is a free sync monitor, but the 970 doesn't support it so I am not using it.
Connected via DP
All power settings have been disabled. I normally just turn the monitor off manually (I tried the auto off before and same thing).
Maybe something in the BIOS?
I have a GTX 970 on a Asrock B450 board.
If I need to afk on a game, I will normally turn off the monitor, only to come back with the game crashed.
I found the culprit to be the monitor turn off. If I leave the monitor on, no crash.
I think the video card is going into some kind of...
This just started recently happening where if I power on, nothing happens. I see some lights on the motherboard(RGB), but beyond that nothing (no num lock of any of the keyboard lights, no mouse RGB lights) and ofcourse black screen.
If I shut down and keep powering on eventually it will boot...
Those new cards will be out of my budget.
I am talking used market. Actually thinking about a 970 now instead of a 1060. Im on a tight budget.
So lets say I get a 970 and go ahead a buy a 75 Hz monitor with free sync. can I still use the 75Hz display, just without the active sync right? or will...
I am in works of upgrading my video card (have a 7770 lol), looking to get a used card right now and in the future I will upgrade my monitor as well.
Is sync(free sync, g-sync) really that good?
I've been searching displays the freesync displays are so much cheaper than gsync, is this always...
Changing my rig over from a and 785g Mobo and phenom ii to an h77 and an i3.
I been on this setup for so long and am really dreading a reinstall of windows
Can I get away with changing mobos and CPU and just using the same hard drives without a fresh install?
I don't have raid
Looking for cheap as possible that can take a x16 GPU. Everything else is pretty much gravy. Would like 4x memory slots, but can live with 2. Don't care about overclock as I don't have a k CPU. Ivy bridge support would be awesome for future i7, but again not really required
It requires a wired connection and it would be crazy to run a cat5 there from my router. Can I buy another router or something and use the internal switch inside of that to connect to the box ?
So I've finally decided to give up my Phenom II and go Ryzen.
Can I be lazy and just put in the old SSD into the new mobo?
I really don't want to do a reinstall of everything.
I will though if there will be great benefit!
My MSI 785G-E53 mobo all of a sudden stopped detecting all my hard drives. I don't have any RAID setup, just 1 SSD and 2x regular drives in AHCI mode.
If I do a reset on BIOS it will pick it back up, work for a few days and then loose it again.
Any idea what's going on?
CPU runs great,
It does unlock to 4 cores, although I've never run it too much with 4 cores as this was just a browsing PC and I wanted to extend life as much as possible. The motherboard does have video card built in so no need for a separate card.
Looking to get $100 shipped or make me an offer.
I just wanted to chime in that I also had a great experience with xfxsupport gentleman here at the forum. He was able to clear up some issues for me.
Here's to hoping I get my card fixed or they don't send me a lower model in return.
I am thinking of dual booting windows 7 and one of those two(unless you have a much better suggestion) linux distros. Which one would be nicer of the two? I am a new user and not really interested in getting into the nitty gritty. Just looking of someplace that comes with good basic apps and I...
I have a phenom 2, dual core with the msi 785g mobo . 4gb ram, 60gb sad and 2x hdd in raid. I'm thinking of upgrading to the new pentium g3258.its a great deal now at microcenter with mobo only 80. Will I notice a decent difference with this upgrade? I'm mostly doing light gaming and the...
Total Defense(It's currently not installed properly, maybe that is the case? I get an error upon boot up, was always too lazy to fix it).
Security Suite(Total Defense)
Common Desktop Agenty
Steam client bootstrapper
So This has been happening for a while now. Not sure what happened. I've even changed routers and its the samething. Basically, it takes a good 1-2 mins upon boot to windows before Internet comes "online" on my computer. It is a wired connection. Wireless connection is always ON, and no...
It's the little things I would say, for example, on the old S2(and I am only using samsung as an example as that's what we've had im sure its same for any other skin), it was so easy to pull down the menu and turn on gps, now I have to go to location settings, slide the gps and then hit yes to...
My father went from a Galaxy S2 to a Moto G(pretty much stock), and it was like learning a new phone for him. People rave about the stock Android, but it is not so much easy to use when going from Touchwhiz/sense, etc. Unless you have time to look around and add your own apps, etc it's not that...
