    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Not a huge fan of front IO and inserted ventilation, but maybe I'm not the one this case is intended for. Basically I'm a fanatic minimalist :-)

Inverse: A Highly Versatile Steam-Box Design

Would it be possible to request a case without front IO cutouts or is that impractical?

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Does making the case look epic mean that it will become even more clean looking and minimalistic? Like making the front screws flush instead of protuding? ;-)

NUC vs STX. What am I missing?

Problem is it won't ever be a thing because the average gamer is perfectly content with a 40L windowed LED lightshow.

What features would your dream itx motherboard have?

Hey Intel, time to listen the fuck up. Produce this: 5x5 motherboard (smaller than ITX) Intel introduces its smallest socketed form factor yet: the 5×5 Angled PCIe x16 slot TB3 Wifi usb 3.1 only m.2 only no bullshit old skool vga/ps2 ports

The Seasonic SSP-300SUG fully modular 150mm FlexATX PSU

Did you test out the PSU at full load? How is the fan curve / noise? Would it be possible to power an R9 Nano + i7 @ 4ghz on 300watt?

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

1 USB Type C in the front only or nothing, IMO. You could even put the power button on the back. Rebooting every morning belongs to the 1990's. In a few years every external drive will have 802.11ac or something built in. Cables are dying. I don't even use external drives when I think about...

Lone Industries L2: Dual slot version of L1 anyone?

Just bought a cheap 4670k used and put it in my L2 v2 (side panel without vents) It gets crazy toasty. But my CPU cooler isn't the best out there, either. Cheapo Artic Alpine 11GT. By undervolting it I've managed to keep it at 85c at load. I have two Noctua fans sucking air in through...

What case design do you want to see made?

Officially, yeah. As I mentioned, Dan's test show that HD-PLEX 250W and a 330-350W rated brick delivers 400W. Something like this maybe? http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&sku=332-1432 Otherwise you would have to find Dondan's test and see which one he used.

ditch the front vents and connectors and move the power button to the back, imo.

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Is a fan in the front really needed if both the cpu/gpu fans are facing the sides? Would look cleaner without, like the A4.

    SFF Case for mini-ITX GPU/MB

The site currently says that the next batch will be finished at the end of November. Is this accurate? There is no way to choose which color to order. Should this just be put in the order notes?

What case design do you want to see made?

HD-PLEX 250W can push above 400W with the right brick. I think there's a thread around here with someone who did a lot of tests.

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

How tall is a pci slot anyway? I don't see any compromises other than the psu being moved something like 1cm away from the motherboard. On most of these designs here the psu width is not what determines the lower limit for the case width?
  19. A

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

1c could support ATX just fine if the PSU covers the bottom slots?
  20. A

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I don't really see a need to hide SSDs (beyond what you are able to using M.2) and optical is a dead end (to me at least)
  21. A

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I really like the looks and the layout of the "2c" case you just posted. I actually prefer the flat look more, I do not really see a reason to add angles unless you gain some functional advantage from it. I'm a bit sad it looks like it does not fit ATX, as I thought that idea had some...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

The HD PLEX 250W power board if properly cooled can do 400W with an external brick. There's a test floating around here somewhere.

Get yourself a NAS, then you can get the Nova.

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

The idea of allowing the case to fit an ATX board is very interesting, it doesn't matter if the bottom slots are not actually usable. It would make the case more flexible without sacrificing height. It would just be an mATX case that also fits ATX boards. I also hope that you ditch the 5.25"...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

There is already a large amount of mATX cases in the 23-30L range. Might as well try to make the smallest ATX case instead. This is what the market is missing currently, anyway. A 6cm height difference is nothing really.

New sub 10L itx case, SilverStone RVZ02!!!

Clean looking cases do not have to be expensive. I can see that the Node 202 that was mentioned actually seems all right (while not perfect). I'm only asking for more competition in this market.

New sub 10L itx case, SilverStone RVZ02!!!

Dear SilverStone, Unfortunately even the ML08 design looks too busy/crowded to me. In my opinion there is too much unnecessary detailing on the exterior. Please consider just having a flat, plain aluminium front, and leave out the plastic venting on the side. Unfortunately I will have no...

Lone Industries L2: Dual slot version of L1 anyone?

They could probably fit the Fury on a low profile PCB because of HBM, and it could probably be adequately cooled if clocked low enough. But there is no way AMD is going to create such a niche card when they could put the same chip on a larger PCB and charge a much higher price for it.
  31. A

    Low profile 950?

Maybe low profile will become more widespread once HBM trickles down to the mid-range cards?
  32. A

Lone Industries L2: Dual slot version of L1 anyone?

The GTX 950 seems to be nearing release. But no word of a low profile version yet. It will require a single 6 pin power connector, just like the GTX 960.... Might this indicate that there won't be a low profile version?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Here's a new case with a type-c connector: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2015/06/computex-2015-day-1/day1-83-1620x1080.jpg There must be an internal connector for it? But I guess it depends on whether Lian Li can do it for Dondan...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Anyway what I mean is the type-c connector. Problem is that the type-c connector is smaller than the old connector, so the cutout is going to be too big (and it's square, not rounded)?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

So I'm also a bit in doubt about about the front USB connector. When Dondan started the project, it was before the 3.0 connector. But now it's here... I'm just thinking that if I'm getting a case I want to keep for 5+ years, I'd prefer if it was future proof and included a 3.0 connector instead...

    Jonsbo UMX 3

There seems to be a lot of unused vertical space inside the case. How hard would it be to fit a ATX motherboard inside? I would get a mATX board, but it seems quite difficult to get a 1155 mobo these days. I'm seriously considering giving it a try once the case becomes available in Europe...
