I have both the matte and the glossy one. I can confirm the glossy has a better grip. The coating they have on it makes it sticky in a way.

i have a gigabyte gaming oc 2080ti only issue i have is horrible coil whine. but once the card heats up and the fans start spinning i cant hear it over the fans.
the aorus engine software is horrible. cant game while its running random major stuttering happens.
one of my main requirements is i have to have the right and left click on the mouse scroll wheel. Makes switching weapons in games much faster for me.

i gave up on wireless 7.1 head phones im now using a SB ae-5 and a set of byer dynamics dt 990 pro's
totally has changed what i can hear for positional audio. i use the 7.1 virtual of the SB now.
but its wired.
the 5960x has 40 pcie lanes the threadripper has 64 pcie lanes. so dont see that being the issue.
i have the newest amd chipset drivers.
this is a fresh install of win 10 pro.
its the same 2400mhz corsair ram that was in the intel system. is it worth to upgrade it for threadripper?
just did mine at 21:09 4ghz on all cores but with 2400mhz memory dont know if that make a difference. 1.325v
just a quick overclock since i got it last night. 63c was the peak temp and i was watching twitch and surfing web at same time.
So i came from a 5960x to a 1950x thread ripper.
i have a samsung 960 pro. on my old intel system i can easily transfer ( my test files 40gigs) at 2.0GB/s
copying the same files on my new thread ripper install im at 1.46 GB/s
i have the same samsung NVME driver install.
am i missing...
