The Mandalorian- new Disney+ Star Wars series

That is an excellent question, I think the pricing has a lot of "it's only so much" designed into it to justify maintaining a subscription for whenever you feel like using it. We just bought an LG OLED C9 and I'm loving all the 4K Dolby Vision movies. :O

"Forgettable, Repetitive": Early Reviews Aren't Kind on Anthem

Unlike the demo which ran like ass, Anthem is running fine on Ultra settings now where before Medium was choking my system. Game itself is fun to play with the wife.

PSA: Anthem's Open Demo Is Live until Tomorrow

I have Access premiere so I'll put the months old build statement to the test when it comes out. If its true, I hope to get some good value out of the game. If it's not, I don't have time for a dev team that started out with lies right before a game launch.

Asia Is Ramping Up OLED Production

Looks like they intend to combine the technologies together some how to increase brightness. I'm not sure how that would even play out and I fear for dark uniformity and such when you try to add some type of backlight to a phosphorus display. Hell, like I stated I don't even know how they intend...

Anthem Demo a "Clusterf*ck": Connection Errors, Loading Issues, and More

I hate double posting, but maybe you're right. I will double check to make sure my drivers are up to date as well. This would be the first game to give me any problems at my native resolution, with a Gsync monitor it shouldn't feel so blur-crap-tastic.

Anthem Demo a "Clusterf*ck": Connection Errors, Loading Issues, and More

Ok, giving you the benefit of the doubt, why in the ten hells would they use an ALPHA build as a demo when they are so close to launch they should be 4 builds ahead of their first beta build at this point. Alpha should have been in the rear view mirror quite a while back. I have EA Access...

Anthem Demo a "Clusterf*ck": Connection Errors, Loading Issues, and More

It loads, connection has been fine for me, frustrated that my 1080 GTX has issues running it at 1080P if I go balls to the walls on the graphical settings. I'm doubting this game is my cup of tea though.

Nintendo President Says Switch Successor, Price Cut Not Currently Being Considered

This is Nintendo so I doubt it, but I really hope when they do it is just a hardware upgrade and less of a "brand new experience" system. My Wii U is inconsolable. Also about to buy a second Switch cause I keep hogging my wife's and there ain't no fury like a lady who's video game system has...

Most Customers Would Stop Watching Netflix if it had Commercials

I applaud the 50% who stated that they would leave even if they could reduce their monthly costs by having to view commercials. To me, they're the bright ones in this survey. Netflix "We are raising our prices again so you can get even more of the quality content that you have come to love...

Possible Patent For Post Navi GPU Architecture Spotted

It makes sense, though real time ray tracing needs time to mature, AMD wants to make bank on future console iterations and I'm sure as the technology matures Sony and Microsoft are going to jumping over each other to be the first to get a system out the gate with it.

FDA Chief Threatens to Take E-cigarettes off the Market

You could market it as fart flavored, kids will always do stuff they shouldn't. I don't vape, but I feel like there is a lot of lobbying money going into this push for regulation. I don't see flavored tobacco being included in on this either, are kids able to even buy e-cigs anywhere in the US...

Bethesda Confirms Fallout 76 Developer Room Bans

I have a feeling that the resources allocated to this game post launch are already stretched thin putting out the fires that they released the game with. If they were this witty and fun loving they wouldn't have released the game in it's current state.

    One-Year Update: OLED Burn-in Test

They can be had for under 2K for at least a good two years now. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for what Micro LED will bring to the table, but as some stated above I don't foresee mass production of consumer available TVs anytime soon. I would love to be wrong, but these things are slow to develop...

The Humble Bundle Winter Sale Is Live

Good point, I was curious if I grabbed the rest of the missing content if I'd still come under the "Gold Edition". My wife loves the Civ series, I didn't really get any time with it, but I want something outside of MMOs to play in conjunction / against her. XD

Fallout 76 Players Glitched Their Way Into a Developer Room

Hahaha, fair enough. I have a good friend who loves the game. I'm just survival gamed out at this point either way. It is a huge turn off in regards to how Bethesda has handled many public manners in regards to this game. It's still never a bad thing to see at least some people not suffering...

The Humble Bundle Winter Sale Is Live

These days I rarely ever get to play the games I want to play, never enough time. So in most cases I do the same now as well. With that said, I want to apologize to [H], wish I noticed the partner thing with Humble sooner. Will try to make up for that this weekend, Civ 6 is tempting plus I buy...

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Dismisses the Radeon VII as "Underwhelming"

Allowing FreeSync monitors to work on Nvidia cards seemed unusual of move from the Nvidia that I've read about in at least the past ten years. Something seemed self preserving that move, just to see AMD drop a 7nm refresh of their current architecture and it can flex its muscles evenly with the...

Fallout 76 Perks and Mutations Allow Players to Fly

I read this as, if you don't buy this game no other Fallout games will be made. Realized I misread it, sadder fact that the misreading of this was the accurate and honest statement. Also, a game shouldn't take hours to be fun and engaging, this is not a Korean MMO...

Hardware Unboxed Analyzes Intel's Commissioned Core i9-9900K Benchmarks

I think it's a mix of this and straight up hubris. I've used my fair share of Intel processors so I am in no way an AMD fanboy (unless they buy me a steak dinner first), but Intel has a record of fighting dirty in the few instances where AMD has actually had a decent if not better part on their...
