Have owned quite a few MB's over the years, some packed with features other quite bare but they all worked more or less but some did take a trip to RMA. But one brand i haven't tried is ASUS so my story is sadly lacking in completeness, can you help alleviate that?

i have hughesnet, speed is much better than the 28.8 dialup i was getting but the pings are worse lol. and the FAP sucks for DL big stuff.....

where the heck is the setup/options screen? it just jumps into race mode and thats it... can change most graphic options through reg edit but using keyboard is a pain

ok did the meter check and it says 12.2 (all volts looked good) guess the drop was more of a bios bad calibration from the new MB compared to the old one. do they even attempt to calibrate those things? i put the fan back over mem slots and it seems to be ok at old speed now, lowered one...

well you can try doing this: r-click my computer/properties/advanced/environment variables/change the tmp/temp vari(4 of em) to point to another place. either another partition or drive.
