Great, another super awesome case manufactured by Lian-Li. Thanks Dan, now I have to build a new computer, again! :D
This is getting expensive... and I'm running out of desk space! :(
The most I've ever transferred was probably in 2007. I downloaded ~1.1TB via UDP over the course of 2 weeks or so. Thank god for PAR files!
Locally? Probably 2TB at one time.
Wasn't planning on replying... didn't even watch the video.. But now I'm going to. The Pebl was the best! Speaking of which, you shouldn't even be distracted while driving with that phone. You open it one handed - glance at the screen for a split second - and put it back down by your side...
*I'm going to assume this is for personal use, not for work use.*
Gee, that's a tough one. My parents owned both Windows 95 and 98SE machines. My first personal computer was a laptop which ran Windows 98SE. I probably used Windows 98SE the most growing up.
As for my favorite OS, I'm not sure...
There are two buttons on the front. The top selects what your input source is (USB, optical, coax, line in), the bottom selects what your output would be (headphone with volume nob or line out). To be honest I've never connected anything to the line out (I only have headphones) so I can only...
I'm not going to give you a recommendation for what to buy, but I think a DAC would be a good way to go. I myself have an Aune X1 Pro, which does everything you're asking. Is that the right choice for you, probably not, but it's just an example. :)
I actually own a Silverstone LC04. Been a long time since I've seen someone post about it. The case is steel instead of aluminum though. Quality wise it's not as nice as a Lian-Li, not by a long shot. Still a nice case to have in my collection. I later replaced it by an Ahanix D-Vine D5 - a much...
Something like this if you absolutely refuse to take a stroll to the hardware store.

I have an LG LA6200 smart TV. It has netflix, youtube, various other video apps... I never use the smart functions since they are locked at the native refresh rate (120hz). You get this stupid soap opera effect while watching netflix. My Sony BDP-S5100 blu-ray player does everything my TV does...
I just picked up a 55" LG LA6200 a couple of weeks ago and I'm nothing but happy. Once the set is fully calibrated it's amazing, especially with it's passive 3D.
Well that sucks... Why'd I wait till today to check the forum! I can't believe I was literally 1 day too late to order, I would have bought one in an instant. :o
And before anyone asks, I didn't have any real "disposable" income before to help fund the project...
Awesome!
I love it when I check my email and there's a message saying there's a new post in this thread. It's projects like this that remind me that IT is still fun. Can't wait to see what's in store Mr DNA. :)
It still requires us to have S-OFF to prove whether this will work or not. I constant those forums under the name "ECEXCURSION" a.k.a "flick", from a bugs life.
We really need an S-OFF developer version to take an T-Mobile USA RUU (not out yet) and see if it works. If it doesn't, we're going...
I like the Koolance Fan Shroud. I've considered using one on my old coolermaster case. It looks like it should be a fun build. Can't wait to see the results!
