The SVS is really nice too :D
My previous monoprice 10” studio sub was great for the money but the Kali is definitely better. It does take up a ton of space lol
Regarding the cable management - can you mount the power strips to the underside of your desk? Then you can just use zip ties, Velcro...
Thanks! The Adams are very nice too. Sub 8 is a much more manageable size than the WS-12 lol.
I really like the IN-8s. Been using them for a couple hours nearly every day and I’m super happy with how they sound.
I was happy with the old speakers as well of course but these sound better in...
Made a few changes in the past couple weeks. Previous setup can be found in the 2022 thread :)
DD Audio speakers replaced with Kali Audio IN-8 v2
Topping A50s/D50s/P50 stack replaced with Sabaj A20d 2022

Installed new speaker stands today and tried to clean up some of the cabling by mounting the surge protectors under the desk. Also added carpet spikes to my chairmat because it kept sliding around :D
Previous stands were IsoAcoustics ISO-155 and new ones are Gator Frameworks clamp on studio...

I haven't looked at the back of it in years. I'll double check when I get home tonight but I believe the desktop is pretty flush with the side/rear base. If there is a lip it'll only be a centimeter or two deep. If you were handy enough/wanted to do the work you could cut part of the back...
I honestly can't recall what we were running in the early 90s. I know we had a 386 at some point. I think our next computer was an AST with a Pentium 200 MHz.
I think I bought my first computer in the late 90s in 7th grade. It was a Pionix and with a Pentium 3. I've haven't made that many...
They seem to be reliable and high quality units, and they are also good in the efficiency department. Seasonic was the OEM for my old Corsair PSU and it's been working fine for the last 8 or 9 years.
A few years ago I owned a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. I purchased it new in September 2006 and kept up with regular fluid changes and required maintenance. I paid the car off in September of 2011, and enjoyed not having any car payments for awhile. The car caught fire 2 Jan 2013. I was on the way...
Yeah, there are many happy ascend customers, but people of course have different taste and some people won't like them. Obviously the speakers aren't perfect, but they are good...and why are you saying there isn't a waveguide on the tweeter?
The measurements look good, too...
