    Ryzen 3700x $280 - Microcenter

I just picked up a 3800x the other day (Wednesday) when it was at $330 and the 3700x was at $300 so that I could get the 2 game codes and sell one for $30 instead of choosing. Now it's at $350 as Forsaken1 mentioned...

    $799 LG 34GK950F-B 34" 21:9 WQHD 144Hz FreeSync2 - Amazon

Finally decided to go to micro center when I saw this was in stock, with only a single unit. Got home and this: Was hoping to start a new game on a new monitor tonight. Gonna see if another one comes in stock to exchange before the 30 day return window is up. Amazon is around $850 now.

    Micro Center 11/11 sale!

I noticed this also, but the ones on amazon say "Usually ships within 1 to 4 weeks" so they might consider that out of stock and not honor a price match. Couldn't hurt to try of course.

$799 LG 34GK950F-B 34" 21:9 WQHD 144Hz FreeSync2 - Amazon I've been eyeing this monitor recently and it's back down to $799 on Amazon. 3rd party seller but fulfilled by Amazon so looks like it's covered by Amazon's free return policy? Any predictions for Black Friday deals on this or similar ultrawides or is...

Now a good time to upgrade to Win 10?

I too had been avoiding/just wasn't interested in taking the time to look into Windows 10, but I just upgraded my tablet from 8.1 to 10 yesterday and my desktop from 7 to 10 today. The upgrades were quite painless in my case and so far everything seems fine. Haven't exactly had extensive time...

PAX east tickets now on sale!!

So I moved to Cambridge, MA last October all the while thinking how neat it would be to have easy access to PAX east as an incidental plus. Unfortunately I seemed to have not paid close enough attention to when they went on sale and didn't buy tickets until December 14 so I was only able to...

    Robolectric & android.util.Log

I can't answer your question directly, but could SLF4J somehow be used here? I see there is a version for android ( Maybe it would be possible to somehow use slf4j-android for your main project and use slf4j-jdk14 for your test code, for example.

Do spiders count towards page counter?

If you still have a hit counter from the 90s, then just why? Since Google analytics is generally included via javascript, I would think that crawlers would not be execute the javascript and wouldn't be counted. Then again, maybe crawlers are more sophisticated. Then again, maybe Google filters...

    Enabling textboxes with code

Something to consider, though I'm not very familiar with VB/.Net forms so it may or may not apply: in Java, text components have two properties, enabled and editable. When a component is disabled, it is really disabled and you cannot interact with it at all. When it is uneditable but enabled...

    Free SCM Hosting?

You say free hosting but you don't mention if the project is open source or not. By your edit referencing security, I might guess you don't want your code to be freely available to the world.

    Time for an overdue upgrade

So memtest ran for about 16 hours while I was out today. No errors, 6 complete passes (almost 7 before I shut it down). Any combination of sticks and slots where at least one of the two slots farthest from the cpu has a stick in it then it doesn't boot. Any combination where only the two...

I forgot to mention I did try resetting the CMOS to no avail. Memtest looks like it's properly detecting everything; it sees the full 16 gigs and all the...
