Thank you so much.
From what I am seeing I think the sub out is just becoming to much problem for my simple needs.
Maybe Optical to Dac to CD input on the Integrated amp and take the speaker level from A to the Paradigms and from B channel to the sub speaker level input...
This is really just for computer audio but the gear leans more toward this crowd, so I thought I would ask here as well.
I have decided to go with a older integrated amp (onkyo, sansui, kenwood, technincs etc: etc: ) looking for ones with pre out - main in connections so I can have more...
I have decided to go with a older integrated amp (onkyo, sansui, kenwood, technincs etc: etc: ) looking for ones with pre out - main in connections so I can have more options on subwoofer hook up. I found a Techincs SU-V98 local I can get pretty cheap...
Neither of those got very good reviews. Unless the looks of those cases is more important to you than cooling I would not get either of those.
Case looks are so subjective though. What some people love other think is flat out fugly. I tend to narrow down my choices then watch a ton of reviews...
Not very noisy at all. I am running 7 of the deepcool fans which even at max speed they are only 27 dba but they spend a large majority of the time @600 rpm. The other 3 are the Corsair ML120's on the rad which with a 360 rad they dont ever spin up very fast.
Thanks
CPU block is part of the Castle 360 EX. http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2019-09/1286_12247.shtml , the nuclear tower one is the Captain series. http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2019-07/1286_11564.shtml But i dont think they make a 120mm model. The...
Been using the deepcool aio's in a couple builds for a couple years with no issues at all. The one you linked to is the captain series and the early versions of that model did have a few issues, but they resolved them pretty quick.
Also just put another Deepcool in the a new build I just...
My setup is a Harman Kardon 10" 200 watt powered sub and pair of Paradigm Atom v.5 speakers. Currently being driven by a old harman kardon AVR144 (40 watt x 2) receiver which I have grown to hate in just the 2 days of trying it. So I have started the quest to acquire something I will hate...

Got a Harman Kardon 10" 200 watt for a pretty decent price. At least cheap enough that if I dont like it I wont feel bad upgrading down the line.
Thank you for all the advice and input from you and the others, I really appreciate it.
Trying to follow your advice and get a sub.
I ran across a Paradigm pdr-8 v4 for 50 bucks. Do you think an 8" would be big enough or should i keep looking for a 10-12?
Good thing I was only looking to see how much a 1660ti sells for. Because in 15 years I have only amassed 325 post and 240 heat, clearly I m not trustworthy by the 600 post standard.
Bump for my curiosity
I am not sure which way to go and was about to drive people nuts with yet another thread 😃
I am not sure which would be the "better" way to go.
I would like to be in the sub $200 range for an amp. But not sure if i should pick up a little dac and then an old stereo (like a 90's technics...
Thank you so much.
Ended up with the Paradigms for 50 bucks. They sounded really good hooked up to my HT AVR.
Now I just need to find a integrated amp with optical in for my computer :)
Asking for computer but since this equipment is mainly for home theater I am hoping somebody on this sub will know the answer :)
Looking at going away from my klipsch 2.1 and thought I would start with bookshelf speakers and then down the whole rabbit hole of amp, sub and dac.
Anyhow I am...
Finding any X570 boards in stock right now is going to be your problem. I would say the same as above, go with what you like. However with the current Gigabyte master power on issue I would avoid that brand until they get it fixed...

Anyhow I am starting with my little Denon RCD-N7 ( https://www.crutchfield.com/S-hjpXUNTE2G6/p_033RCDN7/Denon-RCD-N7-White.html ) because it is...
Been ever so slowly building a new one. Thanks to working 13 hour days 7 days a week for the past 2 months I dont get much time, about 30 minutes a day :(
I will take some better picture when I get finished next week.
Thanks, thats the thing I love about RGB. It can be what ever color I want or feel like. Not a big fan of lots of flashing lights dancing to music and such, but its handy to just say "I want it orange today" :)
Hmmmm, I dont know why they would not ship it to your area. They ship the case though. I bought mine from their webstore and they shipped it to me.
Be very careful of that corsair case and watch some youtube reviews of it first. I was also looking at that case when I bought the lian li and...
If you are after a 011 XL I would suggest microcenter. They get stock pretty regular. https://www.microcenter.com/product/617511/lian-li-pc-011d-xl-rog-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-computer-case---silver . It was hips in 5-7 days when I bought mine there and it shipped 4 days later.
Still...
Love my Promedia's, actually just come across another set and am going to run a 2.1 (X 2).
You can get them on FB Marketplace pretty often. My neighbor just sold a set on the marketplace for $50.00, seemed about the average around here.
OK thought I would check since we are running the same card on the same riser on a board with the same chipset in a case that is almost identical :)
Still working on mine though, hope to be done next week.
I am glad he didnt. I learned something today about a build I am still building. Now I know what to do after I install windows and before I even bother installing lightroom.
I wouldn't have bothered doing a search for it but when I saw the title I looked in on it and learned something, isnt...
Since I am building a new computer and am going to try a couple different sound set ups, starting with dual klipsch promedia sets. Would it help at all to put a optical connection from the mobo to a DAC (maybe Modi 3) then a splitter to the 2 klipsch?
I game and listen to music only with...
Have you tried the newest bios ?
I am running the x570 Strix-e with the same GPU and set it to gen 3 in the top pcie slot with no problems. Also running a Pcie to M.2 adapter in slot 2 with no issues, although I have it set auto in the bios. But since I just got the board it came with the...
Not really, I dont feel as if I am missing anything by not knowing who or what a hwbot is. Do you think motherboard makers should spend extra money on every motherboard for a obsolete feature that only a very small fraction of the people use?
If you built and sold cars would you install a 20...
Yes the high end mechanical keyboards maybe, but you are still talking a very very small fraction of computer users would have any use for that connection. No sense spending an extra dollar on every motherboard for the .0003 percent that would use that feature. I am shocked any would have that...
Really depends on how many and what type of headers your mobo comes with. My Asus X570 Strix-e Has two 12 volt (4 pin) RGB headers and two 5 volt (3 Pin) Addressable RGB headers. But yes if you had 2 headers you could run 10 fans easy. You just have to make sure you get the mobo to match the...
It will hold 3 ssd's on the back panel that covers the wiring area. Then you have a couple options for more then that depending on your fan/rad setup. The 3 panels on the front right of the case are also ssd mounts. You can mount 3 on the front or back of each of them. But you would not be able...
LOL PS2 is kind of limiting you. Surprised mobo makers are still wasting money by even installing them on a board.
Agree with the wifi though. I dislike even having it on the board even though its turned off in the bios. But to get all the options on the board I wanted it was a wifi only race.
The white ring led's that only show white would be easy and just use the same power that goes to the fan. However you have no control over them, they are on when the fan is on and off when the fan is off.
If you want the RGB fans there are a lot of choices out there that come with their own...
